We were four of us and we were all very impressed with this place. Staff was incredibly helpful giving us directions to the sightseeing places. Only one block to take the Tram and a few blocks to walk to the subways. We notice there is constantly a security guard and the outside door is locked after 10pm. Great value for the price.

the people that worked there are really rude without manners. Espescially a guy at the reception used the world "bitching" to us due to a misundustanding which could be solved with a better way. The wi - fi and the breakfast wasn't included to the price, so the money we gave were too much for the poor facilities and the really bad serviece of the hotel. i dont recommend this hostel to anyone

When we arrived we booked a 6-bed dorm and we were placed in an 8-bed dorm. Also the girl behind the reception was very moody and unfriendly. The shower did not flush well and the bathroom was a bit smelly. On the pro side the hostel had a very good location, the other staff was friendly!

This is a nice hostel to stay at. It is well located between 2 metro stations. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the staff is willing to help. The only cons are that you have to pay for the wifi connection and the hostel is really big so you don't really get to interact, and meet other people.

Loads of hidden costs. The price shown on websites do not include the cost of sheets. And obviously using sheets is compulsory. Therefore, the only way one can pay the price published on the website is bringing a sleeping bag. Moreover, the mattresses and duvet were filthy. Only good point: showers and bathroom very clean.

One of the best hostels Berlin has to offer. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind. Plus, there is a real smoking room. The coffee costs 50 cents and is real coffee. Location is perfect for Berlin and is not on the main street but in a courtyard. There are additional costs, like bed linen and internet, but in Berlin, this is not so important. One extra thing is Pizza Dach's around the corner where they make the best pizza's in Berlin for 2.50e. I highly recommend this hostel.

For 7,99 euros/Night is a good relation cost/benefit but the room that suppose to have 8 beds had ten.

The hostel is very big and so are its spaces leading people to have less interaction, so its not a cosy and friendly hostel. On the other hand breakfast is included, everything is very clean and even if its not in the city center the tram 14 stop is half a minute walk away , so in 10 minutes you reach everything that is interesting. It is also easy to reach the hostel from the station with public transport. So very pratical but not recommended for those who are alone and in search of friendship.

I didn't like the showers that are open for everyone. I would prefer to have private showers, as in, a shower with a door or a curtain!

I stayed in a female dorm and the room is very big. There is a bathroom for one person inside the room. I only stayed here for one night so I don't really have comments on other things... The good thing is there are 24 hours reception. I can take the room key 3am on New Year Day..

I find the place really nice, location is amazing, rooms and bathrooms are clean. We had a room for 8 people, it was decent but small, it wasn't bad though. The only thing I didn't like were the open showers - more curtains or something would make a great difference. Also, bathrooms were closed around noon, when we got up and we had to wait almost an hour to take a shower. I guess changing the cleaning hours to 1-2pm when everyone is out, would be much more convinient for the guests.

I don't know if it was possible to change the room because the 4 guys in our 6 mix dorm were horrible, they came up late at night, made noise like anyone weren't there, they felt alcohol & sausage, & they farted... in a 9m² room!! horrible! The staff aren't very friendly when we asked for information, they made a mistake in the sum to pay when I arrived. Fortunately I detected it before typing secret code.

The Hostel lacks of personality. I'm sorry. Just like I wrote from other reviews: I booked for a twin room and I had a 6 bed dorm. The bathroom was at least clean and new. Some of the reception staff is anyway kind.
