Excellent location within walking distance of main attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free rice and pasta was great, free towel too. Plenty of showers and toilets, never had to wait. Not the most modern or immaculate of hostels but clean enough and good value for money, would stay here again.

It should really het an upgrade. There are no plugs in the room, the bathrooms are hard to find and small for the amount. People staying. And even the global gossip WiFi isn't always working.

Only stayed for a half night because i needed to catch my flight very Early the next Morning. It was a very loud Night because of the Trams and all the People coming back to the room. It's a really Big Hostel but of you Need to be close to Southern cross it's alright.

The kitchen is really small for so many people and it was sometimes noisy at night. Other than that it is a good backpackers

I only stayed for a night, but what I've seen would totally convince me to stay with All Nations Backpackers again. The close location to Southern Cross is a big plus, too.

Great location, but if your a couple you can find cheaper accommodation than this! Otherwise awesome place for travelling groups, pub downstairs and a short walk from Spencer street station!

Great hostel! Only stayed here for one night, but absolutely loved it and will definitely come back. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was great too.

The first impression that I had from outside was not very good. The building looks very old and not nice, but when you walk in you can see that they have done a lot to maintain the hostel. Not everything is new yet, but you can see they are working on it. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. This was my first trip to Melbourne and I had many questions which they were happy to answer. I will definitely come back.

Noisiest hostel I have ever stayed in! But great staff and good facilities. Just take ear plugs if you stay here! :)

Stayed there for a few nights and I don't know what everyone was saying about it being dirty. It's an old building sure but it's definitely not dirty! The staff were great, very helpful and patient. I would definitely go back.

Big and impersonal hostel. No lockers in the rooms, the kitchen and comon area closes at 23:00 so you have to sit on the floor if you want to keep skyping.

Do NOT stay here!! Building is old and in disrepair. Hallways dimly lit and creepy. Unbearably hot in the building and no outside chill out area. Inside common areas cramped and suffocating. Alley door left unsecured 24/7. Shady people inside. No social atmosphere; people walk around like zombies. Bathrooms & kitchen rarely cleaned. Trains INCREDIBLY loud, even w/ earplugs. Booked 3 nights and asked for transfer or refund after 1st; not given. Left after 2nd. This place will ruin your holiday!!

The hostel is in a great location and there is a great atmosphere. The free pasta & rice are also great! Only minus were the fact that during meal times it was too cramped in the little kitchen and the unisex showers weren't very clean. The staff was friendly and pretty helpful. Had a good time here overall and would probably repeat if in Melbourne again.

The hostel is in a old house so no elevators available. The staff didn't know how to calculate percents so it took about 15 min to check-in and pay for the dorm. The dorm was dark and small for 8 people and the shower taps were leaking all the time. Common areas were small and packed, since its a big hostel. Didnt really lured to hang around there. Great location but I'm happy I stayed there only for one night.

defo too noisy because of the trains. Clean facilities. compfy beds. kitchen to small. good location. perfect for someone who needs to travel via the southern cross station (2 min walk). for a longer stay i would look for something else which is not next to the train network.

Only stayed one night as a quick stopover in the city before our flight to New Zealand. Hostel was clean and the hostel is located within easy walking distance to the city and all the main sights. Staff were friendly and helpful (especially when I accidently left my mobile behind and had to return to collect it).
