The nearest metro station is Vladimirskaya/Dostoevskaya. After leaving the metro you come out at Vladimirsky Square and could feel the atmosphere of the ancient and modern St. Petersburg where both grace of antiquity and modern style of nowadays are placed. The main highlight of the Vladimirsky Square is the Vladimir Cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. It is one of the main existing temples in St. Petersburg after Kazan Cathedral that is the largest existing temple in the city center.
