Alla Vigna displayed great character with beautiful rooms, charming location and a very quiet atmosphere. The service was very competent, enjoyable and available. However, I believe that some attention should be paid to the bathroom facilities given that our toilet seat was broken. But overall, a great experience and an ideal place for a romantic and cultural trip. Bravo.

Outside of the touristy parts of Venice but close enough that you can walk to everything -- It made for a nice refuge after the crowds. Never met anyone who was so helpful and excited to give us tips about Venice. Coffee every morning was wonderful. Much more like a hotel than a hostel, so no socializing. Love it!

A little hard to get to by walking, but worth it once you found out where to go. Very clean & very safe. Staff was very nice and did their best to make their guests as comfortable as possible. Free breakfast & internet included. For this price I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent value for money, as Venice is expensive and the hotel is in a good location close to Piazza San Marco and easily accessible by vaporetto (also a good base from which to explore islands such as Murano by boat). We had a large, nicely decorated room next to the canal and the one member of staff we saw in our 2 days there was pleasant enough, offering us coffee when we arrived and printing us a map. Just one thing - staff could be friendlier, have more useful tourist info. Would recommend

incredibly difficult to find- no sign to indicate where it is- and waited outside for 10 min until someone opened the door. when we arrived we asked to stay an extra night and the staff did not have a clear answer if we could or not. we paid in a dark room where the motion sensor lights would not stay on. the next day we left our bags at the reception desk, when we returned to get them in the afternoon there was no one present, so our things could have easily been stolen. not a good feeling.
