Good location, close to the main train station and circumvesuviana line which is helpful for visiting Pompeii and Ercoleum, and getting to Sorrento. Staff were friendly and helpful, decor and facilities a bit dated but reasonable for the price.
Well the hostel is definitely in the sketchiest part of town. I wouldn't' recommend walking around the area where the hostel is in, and I think checking in when it is still light out is a good idea, in case you get lost in the many dark side streets in that area. The hostel itself was clean and functional. The breakfast was included in the cost, which was nice in the morning. Even the though area is rough, it is in a good location to walk to all the best places in town.
The night I stayed, there was a private party taking place on the hotel premises, with quite a bit of loud music and fireworks until midnight. However after midnight it was quiet. The room was nice and clean, and an excellent breakfast was included in the price.
too expensive for such a simple, old and not very central hotel. the manager was very nice, though
The two owners are the nicest people ever! They made our stay perfect, they told us about the city and where to eat and visit. They were spot on as well, can't fault them Will definitely go back one day However the area is in like a ghetto but don't let this out you off
Nice basic hotel with excellent but still peaceful location near to the main railway station, the Circumvesuviana station and the old town. There was, however, no air-conditioning at least in my room although they say the contrary. Payments only in cash. The staff was very nice and the rooms clean. Also a basic Italian breakfast on the patio.
Quiet place despite the busy location. Walking distance from the best pizza in the world...the first one ever made. Old streets with the specific atmosphere. Good choice.
