The rooms are good and the food is OK. The location is somewhere between uptown, downtown, and Ayala Center, so if you don't like walking, you'll need to take a jeepney.

The room with WiFi and TV was excellent and very quiet. (You get used to the smell of ant killer before long.) Hostel easy to get to by jeepney. Too bad the breakfast takes so long to come and then is packet or frozen food.A/C is hard to control - freezing or off.

Room was fine - with a free breakfast, but the restaurant was closed for dinner (even though signs around the hotel said it was open until 10pm). Nothing much to do at the hotel - no computers or other facilities to use. Location was not the best - the neighborhood around the hotel seemed a little seedy. The hotel did give our room back when we checked out early, only to find out our ferry was already fully booked.

It was a very satisfying stay, with the hotel located at every necessity a traveller requires whilst availability of cheap transport facilities to explore the city as well as getting to the airport.

Liked: The helpfull and happy securityguards on the gate! They even writed down the registernumbers of taxis we took in front of the hotel! The overall security was excellent, with good service. The location was good, only 10 min walk to Ayala shopping center. Clean big rooms, which felt like a proper Hotelrooms. Disliked: The reception staff were not so helpfull as we would have liked. To our questions about Cebu their answers were short and not very specific. The doors to the terrace of the

The Allson Inn is more a hotel than a guesthouse/ hostel and is well situated in uptown Cebu. There are plenty of taxis and jeepneys to catch that can bring you anywhere you want to travel. The bed was only a bit too small for me but in general I was very satisfied with this stay. I never made use of the restaurant on the topfloor so I can\'t say much about that.
