the hostel was a great place to stay - very central for buses and trains to other places as well as boat trips to the egardi islands. Antonio was a very friendly guy always there to help and advise where to eat, places to visit, bus times etc. he recommended a local restaurant San Pietro which served some of the best pasta dishes ever and the staff were great. We sampled the grappa there and had a great evening. All in all a great place and Trapani is really worth a visit.

We were happy to stay in Almaran and meet Antonio. He took care of us, when we came late, we have got home- made breakfasts,and we were allowed to leave our belongings until we left to the airport. Hostel is situated close to center, it is easy to reach boat to Egadi islands, center or beach. Room, towels and linen were clean.

We very much liked our stay. It was very conveniently located in the heart of the city. With that, being said, free parking is a concern. We were lucky to find parking all for our three days stay. The owner was exceptionally helpful on two occasions, he helped us find close free parking when we checked in and when I left my passport in the room and he went well out of his way to search for our number, contacted us and even aided in getting it returned to me.
