Typical example of a big, professional hostel without a soul. You get what you need, everything is clean (enough), but don't expect a warm atmosphere, personal service or friendly staff. Also, when I was there, there was no wifi or computer with internet available - a big flaw for a hostel that size, I find. Fortunately, I only stayed there one night. Like other reviewers already said: it's okay if you are travelling and just want a bed for a night and a shower, but nothing more.
Not very friendly, but the minimum is there. The city has nothing specialy interesting, this hostel neither. Not point to stay there.
Almograve is a small and quiet place with nice beaches. There are a couple of restaurants and a very very small minimarket. Specially referring to twin rooms with shared bathroom, I think it's fairly overpriced. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook if you want to, but it is very small and disproportionate to the volume of guests. The TV only had a functional channel and breakfast is very weak. Otherwise everything was very cleaned, no complaints there.
