The staff isvery friendly and hel you all the time. They have a kitchen so you can cook and save some money, the lobby is really confortable. The only problem was the internet, the wifi system is not strong enought to support ALL the people there, so it stops working kinda often, and it was annoying. But this hostel is totally worth :D

Noise at 2 a.m. until 3-4 a.m. should be controlled by staff. Many drunk people arrive early in the morning and wake up other guests. Showers and toilets should be mopped by staff more often since they get dirty very fast. Showers should have more hangers since the space is really tiny. Check wi-fi since it was not working for two days. Breakfast should be offered from 7 a.m. (not from 7:30 a.m.). Staff that serve breakfast should be nicer to guests.

Perfect answer for those looking for a good location and not killing their budget.

Everything was pretty standard, it's a good hostel. The wifi only works in the lobby and if there are more then 10 people using it it craps out; but, I think they were updating the system or something... Location is good, safe area, a few blocks at most to Metro stations. Every member of staff at least spoke french and english, but most of them also spoke spanish and italian. The beds were super duper comfy! Great value for your money! I would definatly stay there again!

The only decent thing about Aloha hostel was the fact that it was a decent walking distance to the eiffel tower and that they had sub-par, but free crepes from 5pm on. The room I was put in looked like it was a makeshift room in the courtyard area. The number was a ripped piece of tape with the room number 100 taped to the door. We had to walk outside and then upstairs to use the toilet and shower. The showers were not particularly clean, and the WIFI only worked in the lobby if it worked at all

Nice place to stay. I would like to have 2 sheets and some hangers in the room for the stuff.

I wasn't able to shower because the water was freezing. I needed a lot of help finding the place. But the people are great and there's free breakfast. The beds are good too.

Come for the sheets, leave with the sheets....clean and safe hostel but had a pretty poor atmosphere and the staff wasn't overly helpful. I guess hostels in Paris in a good location are hard to come by but I wasn't impressed.

The staff are friendly but the building is very difficult to find. We were kicked out of our room at 11am by the cleaners and locked out until mid afternoon. Was not happy here and wouldn’t recommend it.

It was the worst place I have ever attempted to stay at - I say 'attempted' because I could not even bring myself to stay there for one night! It was dirty, you have to put a deposit down for a room key and sheets - which is not clear in any information. I booked a girls dorm and got a room with 5 boys in it! The bathrooms were shared by the floor. The staff were rude and lazy - when I was checking in a waited for 5 minutes before the guy at the desk even acknowledged my presence. HORRIBLE!

Only stayed one night but would probably return if visiting Paris again. Showers were small or at least the one I used. All and all a good night's sleep though.

I think that you need the lockers too.

This hostel allows school groups to stay and doesn't mind if they run up and down the corridors screaming and banging on doors until 3am, if you complain they do nothing. They also allowed some drunk homeless guy to stay who made ALOT of guests uncomfortable. The fleece blankets on the beds are not changed between guests, mine was dirty. The hostel is very noisy when trying to sleep, from the gap along the bottom of the door noise and light come in from the hallway. The night staff don't care.

Some rooms at the 3rd floor are just TOO noisy. It is a nightmare. The ventilation system reminds you a plane, during all night, and the people having a shower (bathroom behind the bedroom) makes such noise when water goes through the pipes that something should be done to solve the problem. Last thing was the lack of hot water in the shower. Terrible for me...

Of 3 hostels I stayed in Paris, this was my least favorite. The rooms/bathrooms are clean and nice, but the whole vibe of the place is just weird: not very communal or friendly. No lockers, and no room access in the middle of the day. Also the only hostel where I had to lay down a deposit for sheets, breakfast was a bit early, and they refused to accept 5euro cent coins as part of payment. Worst aspect is location: it is not near any of the big sights and neighborhood around is pretty dull.

It was definitely a nice place to go, although not catering to most people like many other hostels do.

Old building, not very clean, but good position and kind staff.
