This was a great place to stay, but a little out of the way. The staff picked us up in Cape Town city center and drove us out to their place in Milnerton. It is a little out of the way if you're trying to spend time at attracions in the city, but not extremely inconvenient, especially if you have a car.
If your goal is to do touristy stuff, you probably want to be a little closer to dwntn cape town as Milnerton is a decent 15-20 minutes away. It\'s close to a pretty nice beach though, that seems out of the way. The staff is friendly, free wifi/internet room, pool table, and tv in the common area. We had a private apartment which was clean. The linens were okay, clean but old, and the beds were decent.
This place is a bit out of town but such a friendly atmosphere that we were not in the slightest bit bothered by that.

I stayed four nights with my 13 year old son in the 2 bed apartment which had its own cooking and shower facilities. That was very good. The communal lounge had a pool table and tv and was fine. The communal kitchen also looked fine.Entrance to building was via a lockable outer gate.Bedrooms did not have locks on doors although our aptment did.The only problem i found was the travel back from Cape Town at night.10 kms away and taxi fares were approx 120Rand,ok if sharing but costly if not.
Would be a good idea to make it clear in your profile that, while a nice place and well located for windsurfers, it is not close to the city.
