Met the most lovely and helpful people there! The bed was very comfi and everything was clean at all times. The house is just amazingly beautiful and there's a nice bakery and supermarkets within walking distance, as is the beach (max. 15min). There's also a billard table and a pool - what else can you ask for?

Really nice hostel, felt like being at home here! Big recommend. I didn't have a car but there is a good bus connection. And also local van taxis are good and cheap option.

Thank you so much for you positive feedback. I'm glad you liked it at Aloha! all the best for you and always safe travels! Annette & the Aloha family ;-)

This was a great place to stay, but a little out of the way. The staff picked us up in Cape Town city center and drove us out to their place in Milnerton. It is a little out of the way if you're trying to spend time at attracions in the city, but not extremely inconvenient, especially if you have a car.

If your goal is to do touristy stuff, you probably want to be a little closer to dwntn cape town as Milnerton is a decent 15-20 minutes away. It\'s close to a pretty nice beach though, that seems out of the way. The staff is friendly, free wifi/internet room, pool table, and tv in the common area. We had a private apartment which was clean. The linens were okay, clean but old, and the beds were decent.

This place is a bit out of town but such a friendly atmosphere that we were not in the slightest bit bothered by that.

I stayed four nights with my 13 year old son in the 2 bed apartment which had its own cooking and shower facilities. That was very good. The communal lounge had a pool table and tv and was fine. The communal kitchen also looked fine.Entrance to building was via a lockable outer gate.Bedrooms did not have locks on doors although our aptment did.The only problem i found was the travel back from Cape Town at night.10 kms away and taxi fares were approx 120Rand,ok if sharing but costly if not.

Would be a good idea to make it clear in your profile that, while a nice place and well located for windsurfers, it is not close to the city.

Garden cottage with "ensuite" outdoor shower could definitely be more private or secluded. Just tree branches to shield you from prying eyes.
