Terrible experience! A group of us came for the weekend and we had 3 separate reservations...they lost every single one! They then shuffled us around and tried to make us pay the original amount for our rooms. There was no hot water, no lock on one of the public bathroom doors. The shower curtain hung on only two hooks. The hostel staff was never around and we had to wait for 15-20 minutes at a time waiting for them to answer the door because we had to share one set of keys. Don't stay here

The place has lots of potential. It is a soacious, old house and with a little more care can be good. The owners seemed nice but the place was dirty, the floors and the bathrooms in particular and it did not get cleaned for the whole day. I had to ask to get the bathroom cleaned to take a shower. It also was very hot in Mendoza and the room we got (not the one we booked) had no air at all even with the fan. To the owners credit, we didn't get charged for the room but we left the next day. Sorry.
