The Alp King staff were excellent and made every effort to accomodate our group making the booking process a very pleasant one. The hostel was clean, warm and comfortable and also situated in a convenient spot central to Ellmau.

Had an Amazing stay at the Alp King, loved every second of my 4 week stay!! Family run hostel that had extreamly friendly & helpful staff. Perfect location for the ski slopes. Very clean and tidy. Can't wait to go back!

This hostel is great...it has been revamped and completed during Christmas and you can tell. Everything is clean and very well built. We arrived from Worgl, and for about half the price of the taxi they will pick you up. The atmosphere is great, people all amazing-truly was an excellent stay. If your skiing they also do a discount with a local ski hire which makes it a lot cheaper, and free ski shuttle to the lifts.

The facilities are new and spotless, rooms were really designed with travellers in mind. Super warm and cosy atmosphere, perfect for meeting people. Getting to the ski lift (Hartkaiserbahn) is simple and once you\'re up, connects to the rest of the Skiwelt range. FYI though, Kitzbuhel is a totally different area and requires a different ski pass! It costs around 5 euros each way to bus to the Kitzbuhel town but the bus schedule is very sparse. The Alp King staff are unbelievably helpful, Sandra and Gaby are

This is the best hostel Ive ever stayed in. It has absolutly everything you could possibly need. It is across the road from the slopes, big clean rooms with comfy beds, a great kitchen and awsome bar with a pool table. It has a fun atmosphere and the staff are so great especially sandra and corey. They even organize group night toboganning which a definate MUST DO. Best hostel ever.

Awesome hostel, clean, staff was really friendly went out of their way to accommodate me, great atmosphere. Would recommend staying here, will stay here again if going to the same region.

Most important is, that the hostel is not in kitzbühl. It\'s Ellmau. Allthough it\'s very nice there. Very nice staff, everything very clean and good breakfast. Worth a journey!

Great place, clean, nearby bank, supermarket etc. But most important, nearby ski-lifts!
