Alpha Hostel - Salvador Reviews

It wasn't a bad hostel, however I thought it really lacked character, which led to little socialization in the common areas. If you've ever stayed at a really awesome hostel before, you know that what really makes a hostel experience good, is a great atmosphere where you meet lots of cool travelers. I think Alpha should try to facilitate that more. Also, the breakfast was very boring. I recommend serving more variety and better bread, and please some fresh fruit.

The only thing about the hostel that is really good is the location. The stuff was really unfriendly and not helpful at all! The house is really nice but they need to get better in cleaning. It is kind sad that the atmosphere is so bad because of the stuff! also all the rules what not to do.. (they are everywhere.. ) are not really welcoming at all! They need to change a lot! besides the awesome location!

The breakfast is way to simple, the same everyday. The hostel really wants its guests money. Even for simple service as taking a shower or using an unoccupied locker on the day of departure cost you a half a room rent.

I had a very nice stay at the hostel, the only negative thing is that the street outsid is not the safest. Other than that I enjoyed my stay, nice staff. The breakfast could be a little bit richer in options, but for the price of the stay I'm surprised that breakfast was included!
