it was a very bad smell in the room (but very very bad) whan we asked to switch the room they didn´t let us. they asked for money for luggage storage! and the atmosphere was poor!!!

The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is central to shopping restaurants, bars and 4 cinemas. The metro station is near. Bus service is two blocks away to Lapa.

All and All an ok hostel but kind of a stail atmosphere. Very good for people who like there peace and quiet.

Hostel is in good location, but unfortunately it\'s not clean. Anyway I spent good time there. Staff was very nice and helpfull. So I can reccomend it for a few days.

Hostel was dirty. Toilet paper bins not cleared in 5 days.

The staff was amazing. Shout out to Luciana for being so resourceful in terms of where exactly to go for fun/live nightlife. I even got the overnight worker to wake me up on two occasions because the battery from my phone gave out a few days before I left Rio. unlike many hostels in Rio (and at that most locals), the Staff at Alpha hostel knew how to give proper directions and i reached my desired locations perfectly. The only bad thing is not finding ppl my age who stayed at Alpha. i\'m 19 :\"(
