We had a nice stay in kalambaka. Perfect spot to discover the meteora,( trail to 1 of them starts almost at the door) & 5 minutes walk from the citycenter (with restaurants, bars, atm's, ...) Very friendly, helpful owner & staff. Clean rooms, clean towels everyday, ...

I would've loved to stay at this place considering I booked a reservation and was confirmed months in advance. However, upon arrival after a six hour train ride and a long walk through town with our packs, we arrived to find out they had given away our room because they messed up someone else's reservation. When asking about the downpayment for the hostel we made through Hostelworld, he said there was nothing we could do b/c Hostelworld keeps that money. What's the point of this site even then??
They made a mistake about our reservation and didnt book our rooms but to make it up, they gave us their private apartment and some discount! And it was really nice, also the breakfast was fine and we were really close to the pathway to Meteora.
Amazing location, perfect for walking straight out and exploring the rocks, the room was very nice, friendly and helpful advice from the staff and it was good to have breakfast included
This was a lovely hotel a short walk from the centre of town. The breakfast was lovely, they did some laundry for us and were very hospitable, giving us a lift to the bus station on our last day free. The views and location directly below the impressive rocks is phenomenal and it really does light up really beautifully at night, where you can sit out on the terrace and have a drink. Lovely stay!
We spent one night there and everything was perfect. Magnificent view, friendly staff and neighborhood, close approach to climbing paths to St. Agia Triada and St. Stephen monasteries... If you prefer to be close to the monasteries od Grand Metereoron and others, we suggest to go for rooms in Kastraki. One day is not enough to see all....

Great hotel right at the foot of the rocks, which meant you could bus up to the monasteries and walk back down. Staff were super friendly and eager to help, breakfast was good and a kettle and microwave were always available which was a big plus! The only downside was that we didn't get much of a tour on arrival so had to work out for ourselves where to go for breakfast, laundry etc
