Alt-Jugendstilhaus Hotel Castell Reviews

I have stayed in Castell Hotel for one night. Its good value for money but nothing above it. For example, breakfasts are good, but choice is very limited, and you can`t actually eat something hot that is decent enough. They served boiled vegetables and buckwheat cereal. For me completely unedible. Rooms are clean and relatively spacious, TV provided and WIFI. But we received no remote control. There was no storage room for luggage. You can keep it behind door, on the corridor.

Nice location in west Berlin, near to shops and Zoological Gardens. Good transport links to airports, central Berlin and outer city

Thank you for a fantastic stay, we hope to return to stay with you again. Comfy beds, excellent breakfast and ideal location if you want a quiet stay. Lovely area, felt very safe inside and out. Relaxed bars and restaurants nearby, short walk to the u-bahn. Hotel staff very welcoming and helpful, rooms light, airy and clean. Especially good for families and those who like a peaceful nights sleep!

All the staff were really helpful. Our room was very nice. It would have been good to have tea making facilities in the room. The small fridge were we could buy some bits in the reception was appreciated. We would recommend this hostel. Thank you for a great stay in Berlin.

Generally, our impression was very good. You get a real hotel for the price of a hostel. Our room was spacious and had a nice atmosphere. The cold creeps through the window, but thats normal for buildings of that age, I guess. And the age of the building contributed much to the atmosphere. The bathroom was small but very practical and clean. The breakfast was more than ok. A little bit strange seemed the policy that you have to pay extra for the wireless internet.

Really good weekend, the hotel were clean and we had double bed, not noisy. Really good experience : )

i wiil not propose it to anyone..it was a big mistake the bathroom wasn t ensuit but common with 5 or more other room visitor even if we choosed a double ensuite unbelievable!moreover the staff was polite the hotel clean there were night buses near the hotel!thanks a lot!

Easily accessible hotel on a pleasant side-street just off the western end of Ku'damm; quiet and comfortable; good breakfast. My daughter and I found it ideal for a sight-seeing visit to Berlin, but If you want to go clubbing and/or meet other young travellers this may not be the best location or ambience for you.

Free breakfast was totally worth it - just get there early! Our room was lovely and the staff was very helpful. Beds were a bit uncomfortable, but manageable.
