Excellent place. Make friends with people! Everyone was very friendly and the hostel was generally run very well. Of the 85 percent and higher rated hostels I've stayed in, thus definitely deserves it.

the worst hostel staff (of the night) helpless, rude toilets awful no linings (just something from paper) in 6 beds dorm the beds are by 3 floors, the lowermost almost on the floor. etc... avoid, if you have a choice
Had to park in a residential street outside the city, staff was unhelpful with requests to accommodate our child even though I had sent an email several days before we arrived but they never responded. Close to Nice's main strip.
This hostel is not what it seems. We arrived to a very pleasant staff member and a very pleasant room. However at 10am in the morning after our first night we were rudely awoken to the staff member telling us we could no longer stay in the room we had originally booked and we had to move into another room. The room we were moved into was disgraceful and more expensive which we were forced to pay. We believe we were moved so that more people could fit and therefore a financial profit made

Staff was friendly enough and there were lots of plugs in the room. The wifi was terrible though and I personally dislike the disposable sheets. Also leaving your bag there on checkout day us 2€ extra which is ridiculous when it's just left sitting in reception.
Near the train station, but a little walk away from tourist areas. Had a really good kitchen for us to use, but our 9-bed dorm only had one washroom. Very cute dog on site, learned to beg for food from guests.
In a good location, the sncf train station Nice Ville is close by. Also close to the tram line, but the town centre and beach are easily walkable from here. In an old building with full modern facilities, new clean dorms, hot showers, good wifi in all the rooms which is always a plus. The bed sheets you are given are the disposable type you get in hospitals which wasn't so great. But you do get a proper blanket which was okay. No breakfast! But there's a good cafe round the corner.
Great last minute booking, only issue was sharing a room with a snorer from hell! The hostel staff, facilities, dog and guinea pig make this a great stay for travellers in Nice!
