I was transferred by Alternative creative hostel to sleep green hostel. So my review only reflect my experience with sleep green hostel. Bath room was the biggest problem. It was shared bath room which was not a problem. The problem is the most stalls couldn't be locked from inside and very narrow For the shower, And the temperature of the water was not stable. And you need to keep pushing a bottom to get the water during the shower otherwise the water will stop.

good staff

The staff really make this place-they're warm and friendly and make a point of remembering names and asking how your day was. It's a small hostel so there wasn't much atmosphere/interaction with guests not staying in my room (although two of the girls in my bunk were lovely). Facilities could have been a wee bit cleaner, and the shower button gives you about 15 seconds of water at a time, kitchenette is quite small. But it's very centrally located!

Great facilities and location, easy to use when you learnt how!

Wonderful hostel right in the center of Barcelona. It's quiet but that's what I was looking for. As a female solo traveler I felt safe at all times and liked that they had someone sitting at the reception non-stop. It was easy to meet people in the common room. There is also a small kitchen, a fridge, computers and they provide individual lockers, which contributes to the safety aspect. Staff is very friendly and knows a lot about the city. I had a great time there and hope to return soon! :-)

The rooms were a noisy as they are not properly separated from the common room (only a glass door). For a hostel is not nice to have a common room that "close" around 10/11pm, and no drinks or conversations are allowed... It abolished the whole hostel experience and the possibility of meet other people and have a nice conversation.
