Rooms very hot, A/C in rooms would improve comfort greatly. Staff were attentive and gave excellent advise. Safe. Kitchen did have a fridge that was good.

The Hostel is run by a charming Irishman called Patrick, who offers Celtic hospitality in the centre of Santa Marta. Hostel is situated near all local amenities. I stayed in both the 4 /6 bed dorms and am really impressed. Building is in the tradional style with shady courtyards & lots of wooden shutters. Patrick offers great travel advice and is a mine of information. A good upmarket choice- for travellers seeking a hotel/hostel. Staff all speak some English too, Great place to stay,

A beautiful, colorful hostel with a nice café, lovly little rooms and good breakfast. Coffee-flatrate all day, 2 computers to use - most of the stuff was very friendly. The english owner is a quiet nice person, gives the hostel a good admosphere. We could leave our baggages there for 2 days - we didn't had any problems....

Nice boutique hostel with good breakfast and coffee. A bit expensive by hostel standards, and I was surprised upon check-out to learn they don't accept credit cards. This should have been made clear from the start considering it has a restaurant and isn't the cheapest place. It's nice though.

We stayed for many nights and were very satisfied with our room on the ground floor and everything the hostel offers (fridge, kitchen, TV, terrace, laptop with Internet...). The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms with fan offer very good value for money. It clearly not a party hostel and we've met some nice people there.

This was a good central place to stay. Walking distance to sights & amenities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast is not included but they have a cafe in the place so you could buy breaky or lunch and add it to your bill. Kitchen was basic but it had views over Santa Marta. Wifi didn't work in the room (We were on the fround floor). Overall very nice and I would definitely stay again.

No air con at all, beds are awful, and bedding pillows and sheets appalling.
