poor and very slow customer service..showers and toilets were very dirty and stank to the extend that we would rather brush our teeth in mcdonald's bathroom..for the same money, we stayed in a much nicer hostel in Berlin !

Worst hostel ever. Do not go there. It's in the middle of an islamic area. I didn't feel secure there. The facilities were broken and dirty. Even the main entrance presented a broken glass. The other guests were drunken and smelling african people.

very funny, even blood on the walls, never-ending way to your room (different building, "lift", kind of a mosque, stairs, password-locked door, and two long hallways later you reach your room) . Grouchy staff. The good point is you can do whatever you want!

I know it was New Year's eve and day and Berlin was packed, but the Amadeus hostel simply sucked in my opnion. The use of another building to accomodate the guests, no towels, no cleaning and no VISA cards accepted when it was previously noted they would be accepted.

The staff is very friendly. The bathrooms aren't very clean. And there's no real light in the rooms, just red light bulbs, which don't make you see much and make you feel like in a room rented by the hour. The infrastructure is fine. There is a subway station in front of the hostel. It takes only a few minutes to Alexander Platz.
