the person who charged there is really nice and friendly with politeness!

The interior of the house looked next to derelict, the dark corridors were confusing, signage was poor, the carpet coming loose and not very clean, sheets were clean but worn, mattresses were showing. The room was bleak and ice-cold when we arrived - which was fixed rather quickly, once we informed the reception, but we still got a comment, that our room was warmer than some others anyways - not something you say to freezing guests! No warm water at the sinks, so I didn't dare try the shower.

Ich habe schon viele Hostels besucht, in Europa wie auch Australien und Neuseeland, aber ich habe mich noch nie so unwohl in einem Hostel gefühlt wie in diesem. Lange dunkle Gänge, keine Fenster, muffiger Teppich, ein Zimmer mit einer Eisentür verschlossen, ein Treppenhaus mit Gittern, ein Fahrstuhl und Treppenhaus, in dem man sich sofort unwohl fühlt.Dieses Hostel ist definitiv nichts für allein reisende Frauen.

It's not close to the center. They say they dont accept groups bigger than 4 so I thought that would suit me since I was alone, but only big groups came in. Some staff members were a bit annoying, the lobby wasnt cosy and if you expect a Berlin atmosphere, don't go there. You get what you pay for I'd say, but I've slept in better hostels with the same price.

This was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Big concrete block with never-ending corridors, dirty, smelly bathrooms. I would never, ever go back here. We were particularly pissed off because the actualy 'walk in off the street' rate was cheaper than the rate we paid through Hostels Worldwide. We were ripped off by $80 just by using this website.

Great location - you can reach the best attractions and entertainment options of Berlin on foot within several minutes. And a well-known club is just under the hostel - party does not stop earlier than at noon.

It is really a smelly and dirty place and far too expensive!

Excellent security and location, unfortunetely, staff was not very helpful, even rude when I asked for some basic information about the city. Extreme bad smell was present in my room as well as in the corridor, I was almost afraid to breathe. I stayed for one week in Berlin, but only one night was enought in Amadeus Hostel.

right next to the ,etro, clean rooms, nice clean shower rooms but the bathroom itself was a bit gross. all in all a good stay and good value.

do not stay at this hostel. its only a few mins walk from a tube stop, but the area is dodgy. drunks everywhere and broken glass. hostel is a tower block separate to reception, the night we arrived a party was on down stairs and the loud music kept everyone awake. its not safe for single female travellers at all. although i would not reccommend anyone stay here. its dark and blood was on duvets, and people in bondage gear walking around corridors.
