As popular as ever Amakaya means 'home', so move in and make yourself at home! A short 300m stroll gets you to Main Street, the hub of Plett's shops, restaurants and nightlife.
However, if 'life's a beach' then wind your way past Main Street down to the ever popular Central Beach.
We offer a variety of private rooms and dorms with both shared and en-suite bathrooms.
Our upstairs bar and open air veranda offers a magnificent view of the Tsitsikamma mountain range, the ocean and the bay. This is a great place to relax after a busy day or to watch the sunrise.
At night you can swop stories of your adventures while sitting around the bonfire or lazing in one of our hammocks.
Free internet is available and our WiFi connection is available anywhere on the property.
....or just lose yourself in our lounge watching one of the satellite TV channels.
Should you wish to show off your culinary skills to the other guests you are welcome to take charge of our fully equipped kitchen.
Getting out and about:
Our Adventure centre will arrange bookings and transport to an endless number of activities. Some of those within 25km of Plett are:

Whale/dolphin watching
Eagle Encounters
Wolf Sanctuary
Snake sanctuary
Skydiving
Robberg Nature Reserve - enjoyable hikes and 2 beaches to relax on.
