Alex from Amazing Home Hostel made our stay in Arequipa great. He helped us with tours of Colca Canyon, grabbed us taxis to the bull fights and to the bus station and even came down to grab us from the bus station in a taxi to make sure that we made it okay. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing home is exactly that. We ended up staying longer than anticipated due to illness and they did everything they could to help. The facilities are great and breakfast on the roof terrace is lovely. Only tiny complaint was the noise from the square outside, nothing earplugs can\'t fix! Would not hesitate to recommend this amazing home away from home.

I loved staying in this hostel! the rooms where clean, large and we also had hot water. Breakfast was pancakes on the rooftop balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. 5 blocks from the plaza de armas (main square) so very good location. Alex and the other staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and on our last night we had dinner on the balcony and they even brought us up glasses and candles. Def recommend this AMAZING HOSTEL.

A grand hostel, room was clean, could improve by replacing the pillows and installing proper curtains. Staff were nice and friendly and pancakes for breakfast a nice touch

This hostel is the nicest I have stayed in since being in Peru for nearly 3 months! The owners are extremely helpful, friendly, kind and bent over backwards to make sure our stay was pleasant. The room had the basic necessities and was immaculately clean. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and was absolutely delicious. I\'d definitely recommend this hostel to people looking to stay in Arequipa, particularly those looking for a quiet, relaxing, neat hostel located in a safe area near the plaza

We couldnt ask for a better place to stay or a better host than Alex at Amazing Home. The location is a historic part of Arequipa and is centrally located, though away from the noise of most other hostels with its own mini plaza. Alex can arrange everything, being a guide for the last 8 years for Colca Canyon, Misti etc. Thoroughly recommend and we will certainly be back on our return to Arequipa in a few months
