It looks more like an hotel than a B&B, but if you don't matter it's a good choice for few days in Dublin.

We are not hostel people. We felt it was more like a budget hotel, Not sure of the definitions. Overall good value, good location but certainly no frills.

Very helpful staff on pretty much 24 hours - they even let us leave our bags there on the last day before we flew home. Free wi-fi was really appreciated. Can be a little noisy when people come home late at night but I had ear-plugs and slept through most of it.

I thought our stay at the Amberley House was a very positive experience. Great staff, great accommodations, and great breakfast. We felt very comfortable and safe during our stay and it was in a very good location of Dublin. The staff was also very helpful and friendly when we needed to know the best way to get to and from the airport. They also let us keep our bags locked up in the luggage room after we checked out so that we didn't have to carry them around all day. We were very satisfied!

The website was misleading. I agreed to pay 50euros for two nights stay via the website. When, I arrived, I was told that there was a problem with the website and I have to pay 80euros instead. I was told that if I decided not to stay, I must pay 40euros. I was told to call the Garda, and they directed me to the Consumer Agency and they helped managed the situation.

The friendship of the staff was perfect. Clean, good located, big breakfast. The one bad point for me was that the shower was a little small, so if you are a big person maybe is difficult to take a shower
