The toilet / sink /shower is located at the end of the bed! (With no barrier). Guess you get what you pay for but I wouldn't want to stay longer than one night.

Keys are left behind the front desk, but to get the key, all you have to say is your room number (not your name) - the member of staff on duty varies so any person off the street could ask for any number key they like. The toilet and shower were in the same room so only one person could use either at a time. Hot water takes ages to run. The shower was tiny. Only place to hang towel was on a rusty metal hanger. Some of the staff bordering on rude. Loud doorbell audible from bedroom

The room was ok, the bathrooms were horrible... The other persons in the hostel were really egoistic, one took a shower and after this closed the door and the window, so the bathroom was very very wet, everything was wet, even the seat of the toilet! There was always a lot of water on the floor 1-2cm, so that you really had to take care not to have wet feet when you wanted to go to the toilet... You can here all the noise from the other rooms. Staff very friendly, TV in the room, breakfast ok.

The staff is friendly. It was really quiet in the hostel, but I guess it wasn't that many guests that night. We found a big cockroach in our room. Other than that the room seemed clean, but not the shared bathroom. It is an ok place to stay for one night. You get your basic room with a bed and shower and breakfast in morning. But it is not the most comfortable place for staying longer. The location is really good - it is 10 - 15 minute walk from the central station.

when we arrived we had a problem about our reservation, actually there was no reservation for us. We were offered to have better rooms instead but we needed to move from room to room each 2 nights. Breakfast was good, small but I think enough. The hostel is located really close to metro. Beacause of, thin walls, there's noisy, but at night they take care of keeping silent.

We really liked our stay at Hotel Ambrosiana. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and simply furnished, which was just right for us. The hotel's location is excellent and very inexpensive with regard to this. Our only complaint was that it was very noisy at night. Obviously the noise from the city can't be avoided, but loud noises within the hotel (banging doors, keys rattling in locks, people talking loudly very late at night and very early in the morning).

At first I liked this hostel very much. The staff treated us well, the room was good, not more than that. The shower did not work, but it is close to the station. One problem is that you have to face many and many stairs to reach the hostel and the room. The biggest problem I had with this hostel is that they tried to charge us twice for the room. They did not accept that I had already paid reservation to hostelworld and they did not discount the amount.

Hotel is situated just 3 metro stops from the center and there are good pubs near from here. Staff (italian guy) was very friendly and helpfull. Nice, clean rooms, a bit noisy in the morning. The breakfast could be richer for this money.

its was to nosey. I could hear everything and anything going on in the building. Our private shower and restroom had black mold growing inside of it and on top of it. It smelled so bad that it was almost unbearable at times. The security was only good because they wouldnt give you a key to get back in the building. You had to use your cell phone to get back in... I was not warned of this the first time i left and I was not able to use my cell phone outside of the US.
