We definately got what we paid for and more. It is a good and safe location. Bus 92 was a little difficult to find outside of the train station, but we manage to ask around and find it. It is a small one floor hotel (located on the 4th floor, they buzz you in). The staff were super super nice. Made us feel very welcome. The rooms and facilites were clean (the comforts had some gunk, but the sheets were clean). Easy to take bus into center. I would stay there again and recommend to others.

Don't be misled, Americans, this is not exactly what I would consider to be "Hotel America." They tried to make me pay in cash when I arrived when I was planning on paying with credit card, and the services offered are very limited. Difficult to find the place upon arrival and often difficult to understand what the staff was saying. The breakfast offered is fantastic, with chocolate-filled croissants, coffee, and eggs offered, but that is the only thing somewhat American about this place.

Breakfast was one bread product and one cup of coffee or tea. They lady was very nice, but not especially helpful. I feel like I was overcharged for I got. There are only two bathrooms for the entire floor. The bathrooms were clean, but you couldn't take a shower and NOT leave a huge puddle of water outside the door. There was a TV in the room, not that it matters one way or the other. It was clean, but not in a good location and not really by anything.

Nice hotel with very friendly personal! It is near to the center, whithin wlking distance about 30 min, or you could take a tram or bus for 5 min. The breakfast was not so big, but there was a fried egg, sandwiches, fruits and coffe or tee. The disadvantage was only that at nights there were very noisy and difficult to sleep sometimes. But at all was good place to stay!

It is a nice hotel. Just not warm enough in winter time.

Thank you very much for your friendliness, and helpfulness. You helped make our trip very, very smooth, and you very understanding and friendly! There is only one thing that I would like to bring up, and I don't even think it was something you could have helped any sooner than you did; in the bathroom on one of the nights we were there, there was hair all over the shower, in the bidet, and on the floor as well. The next time we went in there, it was clean, so thank you very much for that! If

Good hostel, near to a bus and a tramway stop. It is a little bit loud. Good staff and correct breakfeast (fruits, eggs, coffee tea or hot milk, croissant)

Pretty good location a little hard to find. Very nice staff. It's just a hotel so hard to do much for character / fun. Breakfast was great.

We've enjoyed our time in Hotel America. The bedrooms and the toilets are really clean and the staff is very friendly. The location is great... 10 minutes from the city center (Duomo) by tram or bus and about 15 minutes from the central station by bus. It's a good place to stay in Milan!

A good place to stay in Milan, the price is not that high, the location is a plus (it seems also safe) and I totally agree with the people who said they love Mrs. Chang, she's just amazing. Although she doesn't speak English that good she is nicr and helpful. The hotel was clean, the breakfast is definitely a plus and I can imagine I would stay there again.

The rooms seemed clean enough, but there were some marks on the walls and a stain on one of the blankets. The staff, especially Angela, was extremely nice and helpful. She made breakfast for us every morning, which included fried eggs also. The power in our room went out for about 30 minutes and the water went cold, but it was fixed promptly. This hotel suited our kind of trip (backpacking) well, but is probably not for a couples romantic getaway.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was definitely a bonus for such a rate.

No common room, quite a walk from the centre (although the tram passes in front of the hostel, if you love trams, then the location is excellent :) There is a construction yard behind the hotel, but in the weekend we were there, they were not working. So we had quiet mornings!
