What a lovely hostel - probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Very well located, safe area. Felt completely safe walking around at night. Breakfast was brilliant - as much as you can eat, set us up for the day!! Raphael was so friendly, and recommended places to us too. Would definitely stay again. Not as busy as a traditional 'hostel' - probably because there is so much to do in NYC. More B and B.

Small, nice and in a very excellent place, but room are not for couples! Beds are separated.

The Hostel is very nice, clean and the crew is very good. My only issues are about the kitchen and the common area. The kitchen don't have a stove and plant of room in he refrigerator to guests. About the common area, it's to little so impossible to stay comfortably with many people, it's is inside the computer room.

Except a little bit noisy coz near the street, everything else is nice. Selfserved breakfast, close to subway and clean.

The unique location on the east side, nice room, cleanliness of toilets, always plenty of towels, cute character and calm enough for NY. The most we like the kitchen, all the guests at one table, wonderful breakfasts prepared in advance and really friendly host, who kindly welcomed us every morning. A unique experience and I hope that despite the distance we will be back again. And NYCity is something special anyway. Maja, Mojca, Tanja and Mitja (the marathon finisher!!!) from Slovenia, EU.

Very good stay. Great location. Some staff members are a bit grumpy, but overall ok.

Clean and good location for sure. First stay at a hostel in a long time. A little bit undirected in the kitchen.

The location is great and close to 2 main subway lines and the PATH train. It is a quiet and safe area at night as it's next to a postal service delivery centre. The hostel itself (rooms and showers) was very clean and common areas were very modern with internet access, telephone and washing/drying facilities. Rooms are small, but you really only use it to sleep in anyway! Would recommend to people who want something clean and more private.. as it is not a "party" hostel.

We had a great stay at the hostel and highly recommend staying here. The staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is just great - especially the fresh waffles! It is also easy to meet other backpackers. Enjoy New York!

The hostel is very well located and very clean. Unfortunately, I could not book all the days I wanted to stay. The staff is weak, but the hostel is very good.

The hostel is excelent! My only suggestion is that there was another room with tables for breakfast, as the kitchen gets really busy around 9am.
