Excellent hostel located a short walk from Hualien train station. Clean comfortable bunk beds in the dorm rooms, good value, friendlly and very helpful staff (including for renting a scooter). Very nice common area with WIFI and computer access. The photos around the bar/room of past guests is a nice touch. The staff can recommend lots of great things to do around Hualien. It makes for the perfect base to visit Taroko gorge from!

It was easy to find, the staff was really nice giving me advices about trip, what to see or where to eat. The also helped me with my trip to Taroko gourge. Breakfast was nice and bathrooms were clean. Since I liked Hualien I wish I could return here

Very nice place to stay and a very helpful staff. Very convient location right by the train station. If planning on going to gorge rent a scooter or go with a tour. As walking it is very inconvenient as their are no paths to connect the different trails and you end up walking on the road and through tunnels.

The staff is amazingly friendly. a great way to meet people and get information and feel welcome a place to go.

Excellent location and awesome staff. Ask the owner what you need and she will just tell you what you wanted and more! She helped me planning my whole trip in Taiwan, I ended up changing my whole schedule and decided to trust what she said. At the end, it was my best trip ever. Recommended hostel!

The staff was VERY helpful and super friendly. The facilities were clean, they had free internet and let us keep our stuff there for hours after we checked out so we didn't have to lug it around while we did some sight seeing before our train. The staff helped us find restaurants, called us cabs and texted us directions when we were out and about and lost. Overall the staff alone is reason to stay at this hostel!

PERFECT location 5 mins from train/bus station and bike rentals. SUPER helpful staff - will do anything for you, Chi even came to meet us at the train station and texted us addresses of restaurants as we needed them for cabs. Very clean (but hard) beds, many showers, clean bathroom. We had a WONDERFUL stay! The included breakfast is also great and so handy!

This was a fantastic hostel with very friendly staff. It was clean and comfortable and the location was great (close to the train station). The staff helped us organize a trip to the Gorge and were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and amazing staff. They were incredibly helpful and one of the women there even had rubber cement to help me fix my shoe! The only con for me was security. They don't have locks on the doors and I had to rent a locker even though I carry my own lock everywhere.
