The owner of the hotel was fantastic and gave us very good options for travel to Petra and even hotel suggestions there. The other staff weren't that welcoming enough and one of them was drunk early morning during breakfast which made my wife uncomfortable. For the price we paid, it was good value place with a great view of the Roman theatre. The restaurant was also good with decent wifi in the lobby.

There are no new hotels in downtown Amman but this one is newly renovated. It's impressively set in front of the roman amphitheatre and meters from the main street in downtown . A welcoming lobby and front desk. The cafe attached is very relaxing and serves good food. There was evening entertainment and in sub zero temperature good working AC/heating is a godsend. Hot water and plenty of pressure. Glad we picked this place.
