Great location, free tea and breakfast in this hostel. There is always someone available in the hostel and they can help you organize a trip around Marrakesh. Hussein had good tips to give me about the city so I would like to thank him for that.

I think it is the best hostel in Marrakesh. Very clean and organized. Unlike most budget hostels there is no problem with the hot water and there is good heating in the rooms. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and speak good English and French. There is even a very good breakfast included in the price. No doubt it is the best choice and the best ratio quality-price you can get. Really a warm and cosy place where you can feel at home. Thank you Houssaine for your great hospitality !

Really brilliant hostel! The staff were so warm and friendly and the room was nice. If I go back to Marakesh I would definitely stay here again.

Great hostel! Everyone was very friendly, it is conveniently located in a quiet street near jemaa el fna and the breakfast is great ;) The bathrooms were very clean but the bed sheets were so so. There is an amazing terrace to chill out and have a smoke.

This hostel is definetly worth its money. The hostel is sooo cheap however provides a fantastic stay. The staff are soo freindly, always on hand to help you. The hostel its self is adorable. The communal area is decorated beautiful, giving you the feeling that you are outdoors when infact you are inside. The rooms are very spacious and come complete with a shower. Also, the roof terracr is magnificant, it provides views all round Marrakech. I did not expect the hostel to be so nice. STAY HERE XX

Beds were not cleaned when we arrived, a lot of another persons hair was in our bed. Besides that everything was allright, friendly staff, good breakfast and a very good location, close to the djemaa el fna square. But, if you stay here, make sure your not sleeping in one of the rooms on ground floor. People in the livingroom make it hard for you to sleep, not to talk about the light shining trough the windows

I had read several reviews on the Amour de Riad and they all mentioned the same thing: drain! The smell is enough to make you not want to stay. Although it was sweet and authentic, and the staff was as friendly as possible (though rather difficult to communicate with), the smell is just not worth it. The beds are twin sized and hard as rocks. It was by no means clean. Several friends were staying at a different hostel and I now wish I had been willing to pay a little extra for a nicer place.

I definitely recommend this hostel. It's cheap, clean (although there is a smell of drain), perfectly located, with a nice and helpful staff, and delicious breakfasts.

It does not really look like the pictures suggest it, but it is nice though. The toilets and shower were always very clean, but they didn't have a window, so it was always very very hot in there. The hostel is in a quiet street in the very center. During the day, the street is nice, because it is not busy, but during the nightime it seems quite scary.

price worth for place. staff & breakfast are lovely. the bed is tiny tho, and the tour they refer are with good price, but quality is also on portion. so join a tour with higher price if you are expecting sth excited!

The hostel was excellent. Especially grateful for the staff for getting rid of a faux guide as we arrived!
