we booked this riad coz our friends booked them for few nites. we booked private room but it was over booked so we were placed in dormitory. at first i was not happy with it, but the room was very clean then i thought it would be. the staffs were kind. we wanted to stays only with ther girls, so they had arranged the room for us. it was very kind of them. the price is very reasonalbe and its close to the medina. so if you are looking for cheap, clean, and like to meet new people, you should go!

Room very very small, stinky, no windows, smell of cigarrette smoke and barbecue smoke from the common area coming inside the rooms. Breakfast limitated and not pleasant.

The family that runs the hostel is very lovely. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious...fresh bread, coffee, mint tea, pancakes & juice...yummiiiiee! We really enjoyed sitting on the roof of the hostel, great view over the rooftops of Marrakesh. The hostel is fairly easy to find and centrally located. Can only recommend everyone to go there!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Amour de Riad. The staff were very welcoming, relaxed and accomodatiing. They made us feel at home and had a great attitude. A excellent place to meet other travellers too. If we return to Marrakesh, we would no doubt stay here again!

This about the drain is definitely true. At least for the room on the ground floor. Maybe the rooms above are not so stinky... The rest is ok. The breakfast is nice, people are ok. The room is not so beautiful and the lamp (fluorescent) of our room was broken all 3 days of our stay and no one fixed it...

As I was prepered from the reviews it was not too clean (the bedclothes) and the bathroom was separeted from the room only by a courtain. But it is a very good value for money, we could afford private room. The breakfasts are good and the stuff is nice. The location is superb. Also - they agreed to give as money for 1 night that we spent out of the hostel, even though they didn't have to - that was really nice of them. I can recommand this hostel to everyone who seeks basic and cheap hostel.

This hostel was nice and close to Jemaa el Fna right in the middle of the medina. My room was small but it had a window, the staff was very nice and helpfull. If I needed something,an xtra blanket or a towel,it was taken care of. There was no luxury but hey... what can you say.... for 10 euro for one night? The breakfast was very nice with fresh orange-juice,good coffee and pancake!

Great location, free tea and breakfast in this hostel. There is always someone available in the hostel and they can help you organize a trip around Marrakesh. Hussein had good tips to give me about the city so I would like to thank him for that.

I think it is the best hostel in Marrakesh. Very clean and organized. Unlike most budget hostels there is no problem with the hot water and there is good heating in the rooms. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and speak good English and French. There is even a very good breakfast included in the price. No doubt it is the best choice and the best ratio quality-price you can get. Really a warm and cosy place where you can feel at home. Thank you Houssaine for your great hospitality !

Great hostel! Everyone was very friendly, it is conveniently located in a quiet street near jemaa el fna and the breakfast is great ;) The bathrooms were very clean but the bed sheets were so so. There is an amazing terrace to chill out and have a smoke.
