There is no reception and both the man and woman were very keen to spend as little time at the place as possible and seemed grumpy. Had to be reached by phone when the power stopped working for many hours, did not replace broken main light bulb in room. There is a kitchen but not even a mug for making coffee or a kettle, no cutlery/pots/pans and the owner would not provide even a mug for coffee when I asked. Aside from these annoyances, the place is clean and modern and very quiet/empty.
Very good option if you want a tidy, secure and comfortable place with a nice aircon. It's worth what you pay for.
We weren't thrilled with our experience here. In fairness, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, air conditioned, the location OK for what we were paying. We were three people jammed into a small room, the shower subpar (which is especially annoying when at the beach), and only the specter of wifi. The public computer from circa 1997. There was also some confusion about the pickup from port, to say the least. There is an Ampeli 1 and Ampeli 2; we stayed in 2. So it's possible 1 is nicer.
Great place wifi, aircon, beds could of been more comfortable, little kitchen was a good time and 20 minutes from old town
Not a great experience. On arrival, there was no water in any of the rooms - not just hot water, but any water (try using the toilet)! Once the water began functioning a few hours later, drainage in the shower was so poor that a small flood remained for a good ten minutes after each shower. The room and bathroom were unfortunately littered with small moths - an unpleasant surprise whist reading under a light in bed each night! The reception desk in Ampeli (2nd building) was seldom attended.
Clean and tidy place to stay and good value for money. The only downside being that it was hard to meet other travellers there.
Only stayed one night at this hostel, and the experience was pretty forgettable. Rooms are alright; you get what you pay for. There is a great little cafe down the road next to the hostel though.

The owner was so nice and offers a free pick up service! My only suggestion would be for detergent and a tea towel to be provided for the kitchens to ensure hygienic practises :)

Very well kept. Owners were very helpful. Picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off again on the way home.
A very good place to stay, clean, the recpcion was pretty nice and Paros is beatifull..i recomend!
We loved staying at Ampeli Studios. The room was very clean and very big, which was a nice change! Having access to a washing machine was great. We felt very safe there and the owners were extremely nice and helpful, making calls for us when booking activities and always answering our (frequent!)questions with a smile. The only down side to our stay at Ampeli was that it is very far from the city center (a good 30-35 minutes walk to the bars). However, the beach is just down the street.
I enjoyed staying at Ampeli was very clean and tidy. And staff were very helpful and friendly, with pick up and drop offs to the port. Only problem was the sheets smelt a lot of cigarrette which as a non-smoker I struggled with. Bed clothes were clean just a strong smell and stained.
