Hostel is overall good, but on this stay (my third) it was very noisy, not just normal noise. Some students were in party mode and it went on till around 3 am before someone came and quietened them down. But overall a good place to stay.

Not the right place for party! If You want party - move to East Berlin.. Good transportation, easy connection to the Tegel airport by single TXL bus, nice staff!

Very clean, safe and quiet hostel. If your trying to party stay somewhere else but if you want a great quality hostel for cheap you can“t beat this place.

SLEEPCHEAP:Good: Arrive, renovation. Bad: Ugly entrance, unsecure night-access, biting organisms, pheripheral location. BEROLINA:Good: Arrive, location, character, security, staff, baggage storage. Bad: Unrenovated old building, smelling rugs, dark garden. DIETAGE:Good: Location, security. Bad: Dirty look sheets/towels. Nervous/scolding/audacious owner/staff, dirty rugs, metal/broken beds/lockers/lamps. AMSTEL:Good: Entrance, security, construction, professionalism, clean, feedback collection

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they allowed us to store our luggage at the hostel while we were out and about which was great. The toilets and showers were shared but at the end of the day don't forget that it is a hostel and this particular one is definitely good value for your money!

This is one of the cleanest hostels that I\'ve stayed in. Nice hang out area downstairs. There were cabinets in the room. but I don\'t remember if they were lockable. łThe crowd was not your typical hostellers, maybe because it was during the marthon and everyone (but us) were runners. Would stay there again
