The location was very good, quite central and very close to the underground. Schoenefeld airport 1hour away from the Hostel by public transports. Some of the staff was nice but others were not so welcoming and able to provide assistance in a nice manner. The internet never worked when there was a few people using it and even when there was only 4 people (for example) using it, it was still very poorly.

Good place

The hostel is very nice overall. Good common area: bar, living room, computers.. Etc. Location is not ideal, but its not completely bad either (far by foot from touristic area, but close by metro). HOWEVER, the big deal breaker for us was the fact there was no wifi in any of the rooms intentionally to make people bond, and when your device actually connect it to the net, the internet was really bad. Showers were also annoying since you had to re-turn it on every 10 seconds. But overall good!

We enjoyed our stay here, the location was great only 5min walk to metro/bus and then 15mins by bus to Berlin. Clean facilities and lovely staff.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, ever. The only drawback is the wifi connection, which was very slow and unstable and available only in reception area.

Very good value for money, staff were friendly and the rooms and bathrooms were kept nicely clean. Only stayed here a few nights and had quite a program so we didn't take part in any of the hostel activities, dinners or breakfasts, but we enjoyed using the game room (pool table, table tennis, foosball). Located in Moabit on a quiet road not far away from the U9 and buses, and lots of cheap and tasty Döner places nearby! Overall a good stay, thank you :)

The only real good thing about this place is the staff. They are super friendly, helpful and super cool. Outside of that, things are not good. Horrible location (7 minutes from a u-bahn station which takes at least 35 minutes to get anywhere meaningful), bad facilities (aside from the main level), very dirty (showers were disgusting and I can deal with a lot, as were the beds). Completely overpriced. Big hostel. Weird high school and older people atmosphere. I stayed elsewhere after 2 nights.

Good facilities and great staff. Goid looking staff and great price. Good happy hour and good lounge bar. Delicious burger night on Wednesday night with a tasty burger and beer for only 4 euros. So yummy. A great stay.

I really liked Amstel house hostel, the beds were super comfy and the bar and hang out area were excellent. Everything was clean which was nice. The only problem that I have is that when we asked the staff for recommendations for bars and clubs they gave us really bad options. The location is a bit far from center city but there are a lot of bars close by.

Really Good Hostel! The only problem is that they dont have wifi in the rooms. The staff are pretty helpful and although its in a neighbourhood of berlin its pretty easy to get to and walking to Branderburg gate takes about 40 minutes so its not bad at all!

Very close to Tegel airport (10 minute bus ride) but not a lot going on in the neighborhood. Lots of families staying there. Would be nice if there was wifi and outlets to charge things in the rooms but there is a charge station and free wifi downstairs.

Fabulous except the door is kind of noisy when you open or close it.

All in all a great location a little bit outside of everything but that was the nice part about it. Staff was excellent, great recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Bar was a plus but the lack of wifi in the rooms is a slight letdown. Also make sure to take advantage of the all you can eat breakfast and the burger nights, great value for the money.

Very good hostel. Hostel is situated in the center of town but a little bit outside from main sights of Berlin such as Brandenburg gates, Berlin cathedral and etc. You can get the sights very easily by foot or u-bahn (depends what you want). I think location of hostel is very good you can feel what Berlin is inside, without tourist crowd. Hostel is big, there are many different rooms for your taste. Very convinient lobby with a lot of space. There is a bar where you can drink a beer.

The hostel is situated in Moabit, 10 min from metro Turmstr. and with easy access to the center (Mitte). Big social area, billard, table tennis, bar, computers. More than 300 beds, but nice atmosphere, helpful staff and very good value for money.

If the kitchen is open in the breakfast time(07:00-10:00), that could be better.

I wouldn't stay here again. The beds and bathrooms didn't seem that clean, the bunk beds were metal and squeaked, location not that close to main attractions. Guest kitchen was okay, but not open until 10am...meaning you either paid €5 for their minimal breakfast or went out. I like to cook eggs so that was a disappointment. Also, school groups stay here so it's very loud at night and in morning. Pros=friendly staff, laundry service was awesome (€6), and cheap drinks at happy hour!
