Large impersonal "mega hostel". On the positives has very good security and a bar and large area to socialise. Areas for improvement are cleanliness in the bathrooms and the kitchen (which was left disgusting by guests), the kitchen is not open until 10am in the morning, meaning you are forced to purchase their breakfast. The atmosphere would be improved by some evening activities being organised. The location is not great, but is close to a metro. Better options in Berlin than this.

This hostel was good. There were outlets and sinks in each room. I'd bring a padlock if you want to lock up your stuff, otherwise you have to pay 2Euro there. The beds were good and they provided linen which was nice. The breakfast is worth the money. The wi-fi kinda sucked, but that's Europe for you. Also, the directions there are a little confusing. I'd buy a day pass for the U-Bahn. At 6,70E a day, it's not as bad as some other cities, and it's vital. Good hostel. Would come back.

Only stayed there for one night to stop over but was generally pretty happy with things. Downstairs bar and BBQ was great, wifi was rubbish but the foyer/common spaces downstairs had a really good atmosphere. Room was clean, had really good lockers. Would've been great if I'd been staying for a few more days or with other people.

The hostel was acceptable, the staff were very helpful, but the hostel is in a sketchy part of town with nothing really close by. It is a 30-40 minute walk to the city center.

Very good hostel, 10 mins away from an underground station, the atmosphere was really nice, 5 euros for a reasonable breakfast. The only bad thing is the poor wifi, it only works at the ground floor, and it doesnt really work properly.

It was about 40 minutes on the subway into Mitte (the main part of town) and it was a bit annoying that the wifi only worked in the common area. But the bar was good and there was a good social vibe.

Great hostel! The kitchen is really big but there are no spice or oil so you have to think to bring some or cook without them. It would be great if the wi-fi was available everywhere and not just in the lobby. But still a great place to stay! I recommend!

Schools/big groups represented a problem for me. The yougsters I met were very very noisy and somebody even rude. Anyway, rooms are OK.

It would be very useful if: - the kitchen would be open 24h, especially IN THE MORNING (not from 10 am) - there would be a possibility to buy only coffe and tea (without buying all breakfast) - there would be a possibility to pay with ceredit cards in the bar - there would be more sockets ( we had only one in a room for 4 people) - there would be at least one night lamp in a room. Thank you, mk

This hostel is HUGE! I was on the 4th floor. No wifi in rooms, which I was aware of prior to booking...but sucks if you have to keep going up to the 4 floor. The amenities were clean and comfortable enough. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated the BBQ.

Have you stayed in hostels before? Do you know what makes a good hostel? Then this is a no-brainer. This hostel is as professional as it gets, clean as a whistle and cheap as dirt. The ratings should be able to go higher than excellent, so I could select that for some categories. Stay here.

This was a very cool hostel! It was very clean, the staff were very helpful, and knowledgeable. The 24 reception / bar were nice to have, especially when you arrive so late. They have a huge, fully equipped kitchen to make whatever dish your heart desires. A HUGE common area with a pool table, and another play room downstairs... It was very easy to socialize and make new friends at this hostel. Oh, and the best part... it was 12euro a night for 4 bedroom dorm

It's the great hostel, the happy hour is the best, unfortunately is that the breakfast is not included in the hostel and you need pay 5 euros for it. The service is good, the room too.. it's a great choice

Cool atmosphere. Good music and a relaxed, large lounge area. I didn't have any problems with the wi-fi. In a safe, quaint area of Berlin with a good proximity to public transportation. There's not a metro but there is a bus stop super close to the hostel. The staff is very friendly, but make sure you have a few extra bucks to put down a deposit for your key (something I didn't know).

Goooooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!

That night, some people were playing around with fireworks two-three times in the inside garden of the hostel in the middle of the night (2 am aprox), which didn´t allow anybody at least in my Room to sleep well. Altough I complain to the staff the following morning, the answer was that they couldn´t do anything and it was not in their hands. But personally I think that after the first time they could at least close the acces to the back yard.
