Amstel House Hostel Reviews

It is a very good hostel! Clean, well-sized-room, tidy, computers, comfortable beds, nice living area and so on. If you are not a party-person this is also good because there is no bar - and no loud sound - downstairs at night! The only \"but\" was the distance from the metro station and the city center. No BIG deal, but if you carry a lot of weight you might have to take a taxi or be strong, hehe.

It was a nice place. The long, unbroken, single coloured coridoors were a bit off-putting, but the place was really nice overall

One of my favorite hostels during the 19-day Europe trip. Everything about the place was perfect; clean, neat, friendly, etc. If you are staying in Berlin I definitely recommend this hostel.

one big but - very noisy!!! loud music was playing every night until 2am...

The hostel overall was amazing. It has five stories, tons of rooms, really cool people staying there. One staff member, Froderico, was extremely rude on several occasions. Also the WiFi sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. By and large however, I'd recommend the hostel.

Cheap option with good facilities. Only drakback is that breakfastif not included in the price and is 5 EUR more per day. Looks like a very huge hostel regarding number of beds. The street could look a bit scary, if you are a single girl coming to the hostel at night, but I did not see any problems.

good hostel, close to city centre. rooms are nice and spacious and if your room is on the first floor you get wi-fi which is good. only downside is, it gets really cold at night in the rooms.

Very nice hostel but didn't like that people where smoking in the bar, because the smoke from the sigaretts made it's way all around the ground floor !!

I recommend this hostel to everybody who wants to stay in Berlin. The value for Money was really good and it was clean, not noisy and there is Internet, so what else can you ask for =)
