Amsterdam Hostel Centre Reviews

Great hostel, good and clean rooms with lockers and a good number of showers and bathrooms. The staff was really nice. The location is great, near almost all the attractions.‏ I recommend it!

The rooms were extremely hot and the comforter was pretty disgusting and clearly not washed. The sheets were clean though. It was relaxed and we met some nice people from all over and played drinking games in the hostel.

the place needs some remodeling and deep cleaning of the entire place. I got charged suppose city tax that i didnt expect. total amount for 6ppl 1210 Euros for 3nights. The restroom/shower is inadequate and nasty.

This hostel has the best location in Amsterdam with the best and most friendly staff. Very safe en very clean, the facilities were great, and everything worked as it should. I recommend this place.

You can t sleep. À lot of noise.it was very hot in the rom.expensive during the week.it s not a youth hostel : no kitchen, no breakfast, no living room : nothing!

The staff is so helpful and they made me feel safe in Amsterdam, the hostel is central and very clean. I really enjoyed this hostel and I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

The staff was nice and helpful. The lack of 24 hour reception, though, made checking out a bit of a hassle. Although, is is very reasonably priced and you get what you pay for. Any facilities you really need, they have. It IS a hostel. I'm not expecting breakfast in bed and a foot rub when I wake up every morning. Location, though, was a bit of a grey area. It's quite a long walk to the true center of Amsterdam (unless you take the tram). But it is located in a very cool area, regardless!

The staff change linen but not blancet case and my blancet smelled bad. The hostel is in good location. The staff is good.

This hostel is the worst hostel i've ever been. First of all the cleanliness was unacceptable! They NEVER change/clean the cover of the blanket which means that it smells awful! The bathroom was full of moisture with result to freeze when you are taking a shower! Also the whole room was very cold that you need your jacket to sleep! The reception is not open 24hours as it's written in the facilities of the hostel so if you want to ask something in the night, you can't!! Just don't try it!!!

That bathroom with the toilet, the lavatory and the shower in the same place makes the bathroom be completely soaked... and it become dirty. Also the reception people is not so nice and they don't know so much about the turistic places: I knew that Van Gogh museum was closed but that his paintures were in another museum in the city. And they told me to go to the Van Gogh museum, because it was open... and it was not. I needed to walk about 2 more kms to arrive to the correct place.

The facilities are good! Nice and allways clean and tidy. I always felt safe and well taken care of. Right next to leidesplein and vondelpark and close to museumplein.
