There was only one outlet in a room for 8 people and it smelt like Indian food for the most part. There was also a cat living there so it's not recommended if your allergic to them. Also, they don't have luggage storage. Not bad if your just looking for a place to sleep at for a few hours.

Too few toilets and bathrooms.

The location is good. However, the toilets are dirty at times and the bedsheets are not clean (i was itchy when i was sleeping on the bed) - bed bugs maybe?

Showers were a tinyy bit grungy if you're picky, wifi doesn't work in the rooms, and no lockers to secure your things. However, the atmosphere was nice and I didn't feel like my things were at risk of being stolen etc. The location is amazing.. Everythigg you could want is literally right right there, restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, you name it. The location of this place is everything.

Overall experience was good. Hostel was always fairly clean, though the bathroom was always the dirtiest as there was only 1 per floor. Staff was both nice and helpful. There wasn't really a common room, only the Small area near the front desk, so you really only got to talk to the people who you shared a room with. Location was the best part as you could walk to all the major sites in the city. You could walk to train station though it is a fairly long walk, tram was the easiest way to getthere

It was ok. No more no less. But the place around is amazing.

The hostel smelled awful. The bathroom was very dirty even after cleaning. The location of the shower did not have a curtain or anything so the water landed straight onto the toilet. I was also placed in a room with more beds than I had booked to be in.

No Breakfast, No kitchen, the bathroom is in bad condition, to avoid some flood thru the door, you have to use a floor squeegee, it doesn't have a shower box.

Although our stay was good because we got very nice roommates and we only stopped by the hostel to sleep, in general the areas weren't very clean, there wasn't a nice common area or place to chill, and you could only get a security locker by buying a locker yourself. The staff wasn't bad but neither too nice and we consider we payed too much for the facilities we got. We understand Amsterdam is expensive but for that price you can find a nice place anywhere around Europe.

The staff is friendly enough, but they changed our room - we booked the 6 mixed dorm and they gave us 4 private - looks very good at first glance, but this private room was like a prison cell, without window and you need to go to reception every time you need to change air conditioning. As we decided later this change occurred because there were 5-6 girls in out 'booked' mixed dorm, and the owners decided to earn some additional money. We also heard about the similar situation with other guests.

The hostel was in a great location! Not too far from the big sites or museums, the hostel offered discounts/coupons for visiting certain sites, and the staff was very helpful! The guys that worked there went out of their way to tell us how to get somewhere, what was the best route to take and even called a cab for us at 3am so that we could get to the airport safely. On another note, I feel that the hostel was overpriced. Facilities weren't the best and the atmosphere was a little rusty.

My advice: never stay at this hostel. The rooms were truly filthy, smelt very badly and were noisy. It's located in the middle of the party region so never gets quit. To top it all, the prices aren't cheap. I've stayed in various hostels over the years but this one will never leave my mind (unfortunately). When I finally got home, I felt as dirty as after a weeks campingtrip.

Great Location, but no good atmosphere and quite dirty. Rooms are very dark, with only one socket in the whole room

Pros: The hostel is in a great section of Amsterdam, with dozens of shops and cheap eateries within 100 yards in any direction. Lockers are provided, (though you have to bring your own lock) and a code is necessary to enter the building (given to you at check in). The wifi works wonderfully in the lobby, though terrible in the rooms. Cons: Floor was filthy and sticky. The bathroom and shower are less than closet sized and dirty as well. Good if you're only looking for a bed to sleep at night.

A good Hostel but Wi-fi didn´t work well on second floor,

6 people in a room less than 10qm. Single bathroom between 8-10 people. The size of the toilet is just too small. No towels were provided for free instead rent it for 3€. You can buy a towel at Hema for 3.50€ !!! Location.... Not very convenient if you would to go to Dam Square or the red light district on foot. Good tram connectivity though. If you want to visit the pubs near leidseplein its good. Overall, I wouldnt stay there again.

Nice staff. Really good location but not noisy at the hostel. Could be a bit cleaner but it was ok.
