Thanks for having us, we liked the peaceful atmosphere in here and nice staff. Room lacks of shelves and chairs.

The room is too small for 8 people, you can bearly move inside and also It doesnt have lockers or luggage room.

Nice atmosphere and location, also money, big minus was mouse which ate our food and no shelves or place in room where you can put you things.

Overall, Janson wasn't so bad: nice beds, wi-fi etc., but there were a couple of rubs that I truly hated: first of all, bathrooms. It was freezing in there! It's kind of hard to meet your hygienic needs when you'are shaking all over and the water flow's so weak it takes ages to wash off the shampoo. Secondly, I do love mice but not in a place where I'm staying, especially when they eat my cookies. The reception guy didn't care a bit. Seriously, how about a little respect for your guests?

Hostel Janson is the best! The staff is super friendly, fun, and helpful. Rooms were clean and felt safe. Location is right in the middle of the Museumsquare. Overall, definitely recommend - I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Amsterdam! We miss The crew already!

We had an amazing stay. The hostel Janson location perfect, close to the Museum square, the street markets and only a short easy walk from the bus/trams. And also in walking distance to the night life square! The hostel is nice decorated and Our room was CLEAN everything was secure and quiet. The friendly staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome.....Thank you so much for a great stay !! UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOU...WE WILL BE BACK! ;)

Hostel Janson is a wonderful little place to stay in a fantastic Amsterdam location. The staff is amazing nice and helpful every time. everything is Well-managed, clean and comfortable and quiet at the right times. What a hostel should be, with enough extra comfort in the rooms with private baths to make the expense of a hotel superfluous. We will recommend Hostel Janson definitely?

If you like to live with rats, it's a place for you... And staff takes people for idiots!!! DON'T BOOK THIS HOSTEL!
