Great location, friendly staff, getting to the top floor stoned- very difficult.! Could be cleaner, bathroom wasnt great. Not a place to meet other travellers. No kitchen.. only microwave toaster and kettle.!!

The place is well located allowing easy trips to the city and with a lot of good resturants close by. The accommodation is nothing speacial, but if it is just a place to sleep while you galavant around the city it is fantastic. The price is a bit steep for the facilities it offers, a bed in a cramped six-bed mixed room averaged out to 30 Euro a night and one shower for 20 people was a bit tight.

There was so much mold everywhere, even on the curtain!!!! And we paid 40 € for the first night and for that room, that little toilet on the floor and the tiny breakfast, was it too expensive. :( at least they could buy new curtains. But they definitley should solve the mold problem. Otherwise it would have been a nice hostel. and the location is really good.

Completely overcharged. 30-40 Euros a night with: no lockers, no kitchen, dirty bathrooms (and only 2 for the entire building), bad wi-fi, and to top it all off, they charge 3 EUROS PER BAG for putting stuff in the bag check. Not a deposit, but a payment. Absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone, pretty much the only good thing was its location in proximity to other stuff, but it was also quite noisy due to its being right next to several bars.

You sorta get what you pay for. No lockers though which is poor form. Staff are good though, particuarly the Italian guy Andre(?) He was so helpful and always cheery despite continued questions. I was up on 4th floor which was a pain as no elevator. Kitchen is close to useless, bascially just a microwave and toaster. Simple portable hot plates would be a good touch

This hostel have a good location. It's a calm place. The price for the wk previouly Queen's Day is little expensive for an hostel but the room is clean and the bathroom too.

Location and Staff excellent. Bed the most uncomfortable of my 63 years of life. Including sleeping on the ground, wet and muddy. Thin mattress on Medal bunk beds. Very hard to get into top bunk. Staff was great, location wonderful Price too high, visit five other hostels, 1/2 the price, ten times the comfort

Very helpful and friendly staff, good location. free wifi and computers is a plus...not the type of hostel to go and meet people more for a group of friends on a city break.

There was just one toilet and one shower for the floor I was on. I've stayed here before on a floor with ensuite facilities which meant less people to share with. This is a good hostel if you don't mind carrying your bags up steep narrow stairs, no elevator.

The room was very small and there were only a bunk bed, chair, sink and mirror. We stayded at the hostel fifth nights and the room was´t cleaned any time. The part of the lamps were broken and they did not change althoug we asked. Towels must rent. Breakfast was very poor - only coffee, tea, bread, margarine and one jam. Credit card was not accepted there.

First of all, we couldn't pay with credit card as usual, and the information regarding that matter wasn't clear when you book it. They should be very clear about it, The room was really small, we had to leave our bagages closed during the stay because otherwise we couldn't enter to the room. We have no way to stay in the room, the only way was to sit on the beds. We really don't recommend it,

Great location. Window was broken meaning it stayed cold in the room all night and the shower was shocking. Free breakfast of a morning which was great though

Was pretty disappointed with this hostel. Only one toilet and shower for an entire floor. Room was like a shoe box. Would not stay here again.

They call themselves a Hotel but it clearly is hostel. I say they provide breakfast but what they provide not even what is offered at a good Hostel. In my opinion I would summarize Orfeo Hotel as a poor Hostel. It is in no way good value money. I happened to see a group of four arrive at approximately 11pm and left the "hostel" once they saw the facilities. I felt like doing the same but was worried that I would not find somewhere else!

Excellent location, a little more expensive than it should cause it was Easter. Breakfest was just a slice of bread, butter, coffe and tea. Easy internet access, what was great. No locker in the dorms, but everyone sharing the room with us was nice. Tiny bathroom. A nice place to stay for a couple of nights, right in the heart of Leidsplein! Thanks!

Excellent and helpful staff, 30' walk from central station. Rooms tiny and relatively dirty. Shower and toilets too small and shared between 3 or 4 rooms. Wouldn't recommend it.

Paid way too much for the quality of the hostel. Don't expect much in terms of cleaniless.
