Nice hostel is a pretty good location close to beautiful vodelpark and with plenty of bars , coffee shops and places to eat close by. Rooms quite small , but clean enough.

A nice comfortable little place that is well placed in Amsterdsm. The showers could do with a good scrub and ended up being charged extra because of some charge or tax that was sort of sprung on us when we arrived, but otherwise you can't really go wrong.

There is only one bathroom and one shower for each floor. There are over 20 people per floor. Everything is dirty. There is no wifi in rooms. Only good thing going for this hostel was location

Excellent location, nice staff. But I don't think they change the sheets! I had an allergic breakout and mysterious insect bites that might be bed bugs or crabs from sleeping on the beds. The rash I acquired is difficult to get rid off! It was a b*tch to carry my luggage up 5 flights of spiraling narrow stairs, but I think thats typical of Holland Architecture? Dirty bathrooms a nd dhower, so bring your own lysol.

friendly helpful staff. good location (fairly close to everything within walking distance to social areas). has kitchen but no cooker. not enough wallsockets to charge phones in room so charging of phone done downstairs. no elavator so lots of stairs and exercise (this seems common in Amsterdam). id stay here again if i visit amsterdam

THE UBICATION IS REALLY GOOD!! BUT THE FACILITIES ARE POOR. THE TOILETS NEAR THE ROOMS SMELL ALWAYS BAD AND THE ROOMS ARE LITTLE DIRTY! THE BREAKFAST IS NORMAL...NOT BAD!

The location is good, about 15 minutes by tram from the central station, but the hostel itself isn´t exactly the best in Amsterdam. The rooms and the showers were small, ugly and not the cleanest ones I´ve seen, no wi-fi in the rooms and the breakfast was very poor too, definetely not worthy.

Clean up the toilets, invest in some paint for the walls, fix the mould issue, time to spend some $$$$$$ on the hostel to fresh it up...

Our room was very dusty, and the shower and bathroom were not clean (even no soap provided!). One morning there was no hot water, and the breakfast....well...isn't much of a breakfast. Toast bread with peanut butter or jam and coffee.

No elevator so we had to carry our 50 pound luggage to the top floor up very steep and windy steps. Shower in our room did not work so it just took up space. Water in room smells like rotten eggs. Door handle fell off if pulled normally. Limited blankets. Only took cash which caused problems.

This place is in a good location and most of the staff are really nice and helpful. There is not an elevator and the stairs are steep. I was in a ten bedroom mixed dorm and there was only one restroom which made it difficult for showering and such.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, (Andre was awesome!). Very basic, standard hostel, no lockers, moldy walls and ceilings in our 10 bed dorm ( health concern). I think with better cleaning procedures and working on the facilities, this hostel would stand out a lot more.

The place is well located allowing easy trips to the city and with a lot of good resturants close by. The accommodation is nothing speacial, but if it is just a place to sleep while you galavant around the city it is fantastic. The price is a bit steep for the facilities it offers, a bed in a cramped six-bed mixed room averaged out to 30 Euro a night and one shower for 20 people was a bit tight.
