Perfect location 10-15 minutes walk to Dam Square. Many restaurants, shops, bars, clubs in 2 mins walk

Great staff who were helpful. Toilet and shower room very clean with a great shower. Comfy beds and the room itself was clean. The hostel is in a great location, I would highly recommend and would love to return.

The bedroom is really small, no lockers, bathroom was the worst part.. The shower only falls 2 drops of water haha the breakfast is just coffee and a bread.. The good part is, the people there are nice, the location is great and the price is good. So take your conclusions :)

We loved our stay. With a last minute booking we showed up and had a great ensuite room to ourselves. Despite the busy location it was quiet. The facilities were good for cooking and socializing. Internet was spotty at times but in general it worked. Breakfast was also great!

We only stayed for one night, but wish we stayed for more. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was nice. The location is centrally located, with lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. It can get a little loud, but that was fine. Overall, a very good hostel.

Good location within a busy popular area. 10 mins walk from Heineken brewery, Anne Frank House, Red light District and other attractions. Beds were okay. Staff were always very nice and helpful. I saw the cleaner washing the sink with the toilet brush which is really gross.

There is indeed basically no cooking facilities, but there is free breakfast. Staff is super nice, helpful and talkative, and the location is perfect, just 2 min walk from Leidseplein. Definitely would go back there.

This was the hostel from hell! Don't stay here!! Hostel was dirty, had only 1 accessible electrical outlet per room, did not take credit card, workers were rude/not helpful, only way to secure valuables is to leave it at the front desk (no lockers available), "breakfast" was literally bread and jam (nothing else) and is not in a great location. Worst hosel I have EVER stayed in.

Great location in Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and helpful

The location was perfect. Close to everything in the city. The noise at night is pretty bad from the restaurants underneath and first thing in the morning from the construction across the road. The rooms were okay. No lockers in rooms. Small bathroom. Bottom bunk you cannot sit up. Staff were so helpful and lovely. Would recommend but it gets very expensive on the weekend

Overall, it was a great experience. I think the staff made the hostel worth the money. 1) the tall gentleman who has lived in Amsterdam for 2 years now was very knowledgable about the attractions in Amsterdam and very respectful. 2) the shorter blonde haired gentleman was incredibly friendly and offered to help with many things in order to ensure our stay was memorable! Actually ... He was the best hostel staff we have ever experienced !!

Staff were friendly, especially the young blonde one! The steps on the stairs are a bit narrow here, but I find that's Amsterdam in general. Some plug ins were by the beds but no locker. Can leave valuables at reception. The bunk bed was really low so you can't sit up on the bottom bed. No ladder or railing for top bunk. Wifi was very weak on the top floor. About a 20-25 min walk to the red light district. Not the best atmosphere but not bad, met a few people.

Unprofessional staff, old rooms, breakfast is peanut butter and jelly. Furthermore, people's credit card information (the hostel's bookings for an entire year) was just left lying out at the breakfast table for an entire day.

The service was horrifically bad. The room was worse than a prison cell...small, disgusting odor, and rock hard bunks. Everything about the hostel screamed cheap. They are clearly there for one reason, and one reason only. To rinse travellers of their hard earned money, at any cost. Even if it ruins their entire experience of the city. If you plan to get any enjoyment out of your trip to Amsterdam, run for the hills and stay as far away from the Orfeo as possible.

the hostel was simple but well located, close to lots of places of the city but the staff were kinda stupid (just a bit, nothing really important) and the common area was really small but once the price is good there is nothing to complain that much! :)

The staff were extremely helpful, but they only have one plug per room and the bathrooms could do with a cleaning
