its a nice hostel and the location is great which near the city cent-rum. Got kitchen there you can cook for yourself. And free internet using which is very convenient for tourists.

The hostel was in a perfect location..it was easy to walk to everything! The staff were incredibly helpful and were always on hand and ready to give any information you wanted. The breakfast was good...help yourself to toast style. The only downer is the narrow staircase and the 4 flights of stairs I had to carry my suitcase up. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

one staff was friendly, the rest need to be replaced. I asked for an explanation of the map and I´ve never had a more uninformed staff at a hostel. I forgot my entrance card to get into the hostal and was greeted with rolled eyes when the staff had to press the button to open the buzzer for me. Extremely unappreciated!! The bathroom is a joke, the toilet is disgusting and there is absolutely no space in the rooms. Curfew in common area, nice that there are free desktops for use that work fast.

EVerything was great EXCEPT the sleeping noise level. If you want to sleep at night, I suggest not coming here or asking for a room that does NOT face the street. If you plan to stay up into the morning, you will love the location! My room faced the street and the bar next door stayed open with loud music to 4am. Rooms are small, but have a sink/mirror in the bedroom. Just outside the bedrooms are separate toilet/shower rooms. Breakfast: bread/coffee/tea. Great staff. Good security.

For bookers, a friendly advice: Don't book a double room here. It is everything but not a double room indeed, with so a small and narrow room, bunk bed, seems like a jail, minus atmosphere. Only one toilet, one bathroom, both are very very small and dirty. Stairs are very high and difficult to move. Breakfast ist cheap as possible, staff want to spare money even from the bread. Some of them are really unfriendly. You can only loose your nerves there. Not a good place for relaxing.

Thank you for booking. You booked a twin room that's what you got on arrival. The bathrooms are good and the hostel was recently renovated. We are not a bad place look at the rest of the comments. We have a light breakfast in the morning and you can take a much bread as you like. your comment is not fair for the hostel nor for the future geusts. greetigns

Very good location close to Leidseplein and many bars, restaurants etc. But the hostel itself was not good. Very small room (6bed room was so small it hardly fitted the beds; it would have been small for a 4bed room) with no lockers for the bags. Facilitys and floor were dirty. It was loud in the night because of the streetnoises. But the worst was the price per value. My stay was around a national holiday so I expected it to be pricey, but I found a much better hostel for less money. I changed.

Awesome location at the Leidseplein square. Key for front door, key for room, no lockers though. No social scene here, just crash and leave in the morning. Check out is 10 am (!?). Ensuite means you have a sink in your room. 1 bathroom per floor but it seemed it was always available. Quiet during the day. Club below was playing some good tunes late, was cool. Cash Only up front.

After we said we were on the way all the night they didnt let us to go room 2 and a half hour and they didnt even accelerate something. We had to sleep on couch and chairs in time time period and after room we ruined 1 day in hostel ro . Cleanliness is the most important thing for them i think . When we wanted to go another room they wanted extra money from us as if 25 Euros wasn't enough for 1 night. Breakfast included but if you consider peanut butter jam butter and chocolate are breakfast(!)

Thank you for booking. After the geusts check out we have to make sure the dorms are clean and fresh, this takes some time. If it's possible we try to check the geusts in asap, hope you understand this. In the morning we have a light breakfast to get you started, it's not bad and it's free. Greetings

The directions to the hostel were completely wrong and there were no lockers or anyway to secure our stuff. Plus there was no assignment of beds, so when me and my friends got there (4 in total) we all had to take top bunks (which don't have sides) because the people who had gotten there before us had taken all the bottom bunks. It just would have been nice not to worry about sharing a bunk with a stranger when it wasn't necessary.

I stayed here for 2 days. Everything was pretty good overall. My only complaint was that when I got there early in the morning, It appeared that I woke the night receptionist up and he said he did not have my reservation and to come back at 1 O\'clock. I had to walk around in the rain with all my stuff until 1pm. Luckily when I got back the day guy was there and was much more personable. He had my reservation and was very helpful. The beds were good enough but a bit short if you are a taller guy.

Good place to stay. Location isn´t in the main part of the town but anyway Amsterdam is very small and was quite good being out of the centre. I didn´t like being charged for 3 euros (the amount isn´t anything but it´s an attitude) for leaving my luggage the last day.

Altough the location is great, breakfast is way more than poor, the staff is kind of rude, the rooms are definitely small.

One of the cheaper hostels in Amsterdam and IMO probs a decent crompromise between quality/price. I wasn't willing to pay more, but I wouldn't have been willing to stay in a worse hostel either. Common Room and kitchen are actually quite nice, rooms are rather small (but at least clean), minus points for the toilets (showers weren't the best experience either). The staff was nice though, security fine and the location really good. Disclosure: I often stay in hostels, may have different standards

Location was good, but Amsterdam is small so its quit easy to get everywhere from anywhere. If you have a room facing the street, expect to be kept up by partygoers until about 3am. There is only 1 toilet and 1 shower for an entire floor. Price gouging on weekends, but I guess they cant be blamed for that; although a girl in my dorm was paying 55Euro for a night when I payed only 40Euro, somehow. The staff change over quite a lot - some are very helpful, others are completely uninterested.
