Lovely little arpartment and lovely owner. The owner only comes by to check people in - the only problem with that is that we had an uncalled for confrontation with the other girl "living there' when she and her two friends confronted my friend and I about leaving the toilet in a mess. A toilet we hadn't even used!. She was so intimidating and rude- she's obviously just another guest who feels a bit territorial about the place . No hostel staff would gang up on guests like that.
Thirty minute walk to old town but very close to metro and bus line. Jenny is very helpful and friendly. Best for independent, self sufficient travellers who want somewhere quiet to return to after a busy day. Budapest is very beautiful and the hostel is 1 street away from the river bank.
This hostel is a small converted apartment which I liked because it had quite a homely feel. I chose this hostel because I was meeting up with a friend who was staying nearby, but the location was quite far out from the centre. It is on a metro line, but you'll need to travel everyday. It's a small hostel and unmanned so if you're looking to meet people, you might find that restrictive.
Jenny, the owner and receptionist of the hostel, is friendly and helpful, the hostel is great! Very clean, it occupies a regular apartment not so far from the main sights (I actually even walked, but taking public transport from here is also easy and takes some minutes, there are tram / bus connections to both sides of the river). The Margiet island excellent for jogging is 1km walk away (across the bridge). There are also two supermarkets just around the corner.
was tired and really needed somewhere to stay - this was heaven, couldn't believe our luck - can't fault anything, loveliest lady in the world, thank you so much

Excellent hostel! Friendly and helpful staff, perfect location in a very quiet residential street near the river and shops. They treat you like responsible adults. I recommend Anadin fully!
We had a really nice stay at Anadin Female Hostel. It was clean, the beds were comfy, we could cook our own meals and you got a towel. The breakfast was okey, milk and cereals, bread, tea or coffe. Jenny (staff) was great! There was no 24 hours reception so Jenny was not at the hostel very often but when we arrived she sat down, gave us a city map and told us the most interesting tourist attractions and told us about the city. We felt very welcome and nearly like coming home.
This female-only hostel not only delivers friendly service in a safe, convenient location close to metro/bus stops, and a short walk of main tourist areas, but also pampers guests with extras like hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc. free for use. The hostel is welcoming, clean, and quiet, with grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and transport nearby. It is on the Danube, a few minutes walk from St. Margaret's island park and the blue line metro. The staff is friendly and helpful.
