Very nice place in one of Bogotas most charming neighbourhoods. Only downside was the breakfast which wasn't that great and the rooms being super cold at night. Other than that I loved the place.

Gorgeous historical building which has been renovated. Rooms overlook central courtyards and the general vibe is chilled and peaceful. The staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and homely with plenty of extra blankets for the cold nights, although the beds ate hard and made for midgets in my option and I'm only 5"4. Breakfast is DIY and pretty standard. Location is great - just a few blocks from the centre of La Candelaria. Somewhat expensive but in my opinion it's worth it.

Loved it. Our favorite hostel during our trip to Colombia. Great staff, hot showers, clean everything. I'd highllllyyy recommend staying here. Location is ok...we were warned many times to stay in our group and take cabs everywhere. Other than that it was awesome here!!

This is a perfect hostel. Nice breakfast, safe location and close to all the sights in Bogota. Nice bathrooms and showers, and plenty of them. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Really beautiful hostel. Couldn't possibly say a negative thing about this hostel.

Bathrooms were a bit cold because of the open windows, but I understand that its probably needed due to the humidity.

I loved this hostel. In the Candelaria, close to the Plaza and Gold Museum and plenty of restaurants. But even close to so many things, it has a serene, peaceful atmosphere once you get inside. The property is huge, welcoming, clean, and you just want to lay in the hammock looking at the plants relaxing. Security is excellent, and someone is there round the clock. And Margarita and her staff are the nicest. I cannot thank them enough for hosting me, I felt like a special guest in their home.

I loved my stay at Anandamayi! The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. The location was in a beautiful area that was peaceful and had an authentic Bogota feel while still providing easy access to touristic destinations. The place itself was filled with charm!

Great place just avoid the room that is next to the doorbell

Charming and chilled atmosphere. More expensive than some hostels but well worth the extra.

Fantastic hostel, awesome gardens and relaxing areas, fast wifi plus computers, great breakfast and very attentive staff. We are using Bogota as a base for our Colombian travels and will definitely return to Anandamayi.

Nice eco hostel with gardens and water features throughout the property! the hostel was quiet so if you are looking for a party maybe stay elsewhere, it was a nice relaxing couple of days here

This hostel is one of the best in Colombia. It is not a party hostel. It attracts a variety of people and the energy is excelllent for chlling out. It is very safe. Lock boxes. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is served early. Warm beverages always available. Dorms roomy. Lots of hammocks. Good location. Newspapers every morning. Have stayed here four times and will return. Never have heard a negative comment about it. It is like a home away from home. A great place to return to after being out

One of our all time favorite hostels.

I loved this place. Located in the historic center, unassuming from the street. You have to have a reservation, there's locked gate from the street and one has to ring the bell. There's a main room where the kitchen is located, great breakfast self serve style. Nice gardens in several atriums, the rooms are located on their perimeter. The main multi bed room was cold in March but blankets are provided, there's no eat in that room. Great showers, hot water, multiple bathrooms.

Everything was good except for the breakfast: three pieces of toast, no fruits no cereals: miserable.

Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff, cosy kitchen/common area and hammock areas. Great hot showers. The only downside was it was a little quiet at night and didn't feel that safe walking on your own. It is only about two blocks from busier streets, but it is a bit of a downside.
