Room was small for number of beds but outdoor eating area, on site pool and proximity to coromandel town great

Totally boring, staff was dull, facilities are fair. If it's the only option, then I'd recommend it, otherwise, better value for money sleeping in a car

Everything was ok. Free bike rentals and a great pool.

Free spa and pool, nice location and good standards, nice place to stay.

Good hostel in every aspect except that the dorm was really quite all the time.

Great with free tea and coffee. Nice with big selection of DVD movies to rent for free and big tv. Would have been nice if the wifi was free as well.

Nice hostel, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities, multiple common areas, nice deck to relax on. Management should enforce the 9pm restriction on the deck as it is right outside the rooms.

In a beautiful location, 2 minutes walk from the Main Street, staff are lovely and helpful, pool, hot tub and BBQ area are great, bikes are free to use from the hostel which makes getting around better, there is only 1 business that rents cars and they only have 2 available, you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas so I would advise booking ahead

Great location, excellent surroundings, motel rooms looked brilliant. We booked into one of the private backpacker rooms due to the pressure on accommodation in Coromandel for the biking event. Unfortunately we ended up with a crowd of inconsiderate louts who clearly thought their mother was hiding in a cupboard and would be cleaning up for them and thought that having a wild party at 1.30 in the morning was totally acceptable behaviour :-(

Very well thought out kitchen and common room space. Bathrooms close to dorm. Showers had soap dish and hooks, but perhaps would be better with cubicle door instead of shower curtain. Staff always available and helpful. A good quality backpackers experience.
