We stayed in a private room for approx $35 each, the room was a little small but for the money it was really good value. The room was also very clean, had a fan and tv with a dvd player, you can get dvd's from reception. The hostel was super clean, the pool and spa are great, plus the free bikes....what more can you ask for for $35 dollars, it was a bit annoying having to leave the outside seating area at 9pm, especially during the summer months but I will defo stay there again

Our first night was in the hostel section and it was not so great. Quite small and the bed sank in the middle so it was difficult to sleep, but we upgraded to a private cabin and it was well worth it!! Much bigger and solid bed and the coffee plunger and complimentary coffee was a nice touch! The cabin made our Coromandel xmas. Thanks!

Decent bikes for hire for free, and a spa pool. Dorms spacious, each bed has its own light. No lockers. Not much to do in Coromandel without a car if it's raining.
