First time I was there, this place was amazing. This last visit the cleanliness has gone down hill... my friends bed was dirty, the lobby and bathrooms where gross. It is sad because the atmosphere and location are amazing!

withou a doubt that was a hundred percent good choice to stay in Santiago. Excelent price, location (in front of a subway station and near from cultural places of Santiago) and staff are positive points of the Andes Hostel

Very good hostel, in front of the subway. Staff was really nice and helpful. They spoke English, Spanish and even Portuguese. The breakfast is very good. It is very similar to a Hotel, since there are people to make your beads and clean your dishes after breakfast but it keeps the hostel atmosphere in the lobby where there is a bar, a pool table, sofas and good music going on. The facilities are new, there are hot showers that work perfectly. The rooms face the street but are not very noisy.

Everything was awesome about the hostel. The place was clean and staff were friendly, great location with the metro just across the road. Definitely recommend it!

Wifi was a problem and noise by some staying there in the early hours. Staff 'Gee'(sp?) was simply great.

Close to everything (one block from subway, close to supermarkets, stores, etc). Near to museums, Cerros, Lastarria, etc. Really nice " camp base" at Santiago!

The hostel itself is great, amazing location, great staff and good breakfast with eggs and comfortable beds and showers. I know its not the hostel's fault but the atmosphere was zero, no one looked up from their computers when trying to say hello, which I found very strange and no one wanted to talk at all. Location was the winner for this hostel.

We stayed in the apartment which was a block away from hostel. Location is great which is very close to main square (3blocks) and subway station (1 block). The interior was modern and well furnished. all of us wowed when we checked in. Supermarket is just at the corner to refill what we need. Price is reasonable given the facilities and location. Definitely will stay again in Santiago

What an awesome hostel! Well decorated, clean, perfect location! But the highlight for me was the staff: super friendly, ready to help/knowledgeable about the city and fun to hang out with after their shift (you know who you are!). And I really liked that there are weekly activities in the hostel, which encourages meeting the other guests. Will recommended it to anyone going to Santiago.

It was so GOOD to stay in this Hostel. The staff is excellent and also the breakfast. The only problem was because during the days I had been there there was no computer available to use! The localization is great!!!

This hostel is in a great location, close to the centre and opposite the metro. It is a beautiful building and very clean and well organised. It is a very large hostel and the wifi doesn't work in the rooms (we were on the top floor). Everyone was very nice but didnt have the same atmosphere as a smaller hostel. The breakfast was excellent. We also had the traditional dinner for 3000 pesos, this was nice but did not really fill up everyone at the table.

Small lounge space for the size of the hostel, and as you can only use wifi in the lounge it can get a bit crowded. Rooms are clean, lockers for everyone, nice bunk in that if you are on the bottom you don't feel trapped! Nice place, but not quite my style in the end!

Magyuri the manager was very helpful, as was all the staff. Clean, well-located. A bit more room for storing suitcases would be good!

Hostel was good. Breakfast was a bit hectic, not enough room for the guests. Otherwise really nice and would recommend.
