It was ok.

Really nice hostel except the showers were dirty and the toilet paper bins in all the toilets on the third floor (male and female) were overflowing! It was gross! Maybe this was the case as it was over the New Years period but seriously unappealing! Also I am unsure if my bed sheets were dirty or just stained. Other than it being dirty the place was actually nice. Good communal area and fantastic location.

I had a good time in this Hostel, but the blond girl in the reception needs to be more helpful.

Overall a good hostel and in an excellent location. I was there for New Year and they organized a lot to do. Only complaint would be that the bin in the toilet wasn't emptied nearly enough and was always overflowing. The only other complaint would be for the breakfast, the scrambled eggs each morning had so much salt they were inedible.

Fantastic hostel! I stayed 2 nights and would happily stay longer. Friendly helpful staff and close to city centre and the 'tours for tips' walking tour start point which is also a must if visiting Santiago.

The location is the best thing that this hotel has going for itself. Diagonally across is a metro station; two parks within five min, less than that to museums; a laundry service (although expensive) across the street; a large and often busy grocery store three blocks; 10 minute walk to the main square; restaurants and bars are to the left and right of the hostel. I found the staff to be hit or miss on friendliness (mostly miss). The showers and the toilets were fair but needed a make over.

too many stairs, the window from the girls bathroom in one of the showers couldn't be closed, also, the window from the bedroom didn't close. Good breakfast, but not excellent, things ended really fast. Very good location.

Their rooftop bar is shut down at the moment, which is a negative for their atmosphere. But: hostel very clean and nice dorm.

We stayed in the apartment a block away from the regular hostel. We loved the apartment. It's location was very close to the regular hostel and it had lots of space. With it's designated wifi and a kitchenette it's an awesome space for a decent price. In addition, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They answered all our questions and helped us with transportation.

My friends had booked the same apartment with lower price.

Really nice .felt more like a hotel than a hostel.

Private room was tiny, no wifi in dorms. Great location to explore the city.

Esta muy bien ubicado frente a la estación del metro. Lo necesario para pasar unos dias en Santiago, un poco ruidoso cuando hay fiesta en la calle.

A great place and exceptional location.

VERY HELPFUL STAFF! I thought it was a little bit steange that the women's shiwer on the 3rd floor was open to the hall and not marked as women only, while the men's shower was behind a well marked door.

Highly recommended. Beds are very comfortable (probably the best in any hostels I've stayed in - I almost felt like I was at home). Staff are friendly and helpful. Great amenities, including pool table, bar, guitar, etc. Great location; across the street from a metro station, and most main attractions are a short walk away. Breakfasts are high quality. Bathrooms are clean; rooms have large lockers; wifi is reliable and fast. Only negative - can be nosiy at times (both from lobby and from street)

Really phantastic hotel with ideal location, nice clean room, good breakfast, young atmosphere. It would be better that WiFi would reach the room in the 4th floor; but in the hall it i very fast and efficient It should be possible to open the luggage room from inside: my wife was locked in and had to scream for coming out from it Lorenzo Enriques Milan - Italy

Had a great stay at Andes, great staff, location and amenities! All you could want!

Great location for exploring the sites.

Good hostel, well located with a good staff. Breakfast could be better. There could be more outlets in the rooms...
