Perfect location just across Metro station.. close to everything - can't ask for anything else...

A nice hostel, although a bit noisy at night because it´s in one of the bar areas of Santiago.

Fantastic breakfast and kitchen facilities. Generally clean etc but was more like a hotel than hostel and was not great for meeting new people/generally lacked much atmosphere despite its bar and pool table. Perfectly located though and would be good if you just want to see the sights in the daytime. My favourite thing about the place was the abundance of clean towels they readily gave you.

Well worth the extra money to upgrade to the brand new apartments in the neighboring high rise, the only drawback being the inadequate wifi in that building. We enjoyed the lobby for it's excellent internet connection and lively atmosphere.

I had a great time there, I meet a lot of people and we enjoyed a lot! It is allowed to bring your own drink and the lounge is the best place to take hours before go out at night! The location is super, in front of a metro station! I recommend Andes Hostel for sure!

great location, great price! Facilities don't wow you but had a decent atmosphere. For the price and access to the train and Bellavista you're pretty much guaranteed to meet other travelers in the dom

Very nice place, and well located in Santiago. One drawback though : no dark curtains on the windows, and the sonic insulation of the windows is very poor. As the area is crowded and noisy, it can sometimes be problematic.

They have to repair computers, they are constantly out of order. So if you have no comp of your own just + the price of the ciber cafe to the price of the hostel...

This hostel should be rated 5 stars just for location. The staff, especially G, are outstanding. The bunk double room has a large bed on the bottom which makes it much easier to sit on the side of the bed. They clean the room every day. The only issue was the broken internet. I couldn't use it once in two days and since I run a business, this was quite a problem. There are, however, close internet cafes. The pool table and guitar to play and vending machine with beer are all added benefits!!!

While this hostel has a great location in the center of Santiago, it is incredibly noisy at night - bars, dogs, traffic. The internet was down for much of the 4 days that I was staying there. On the positive side the breakfast is nice with eggs and good bread.

Very nice hostel in the best part of Santiago. Very close to historical attractions, nightlife, and metro. The hostel itself is very nice and has the feeling of a boutique hotel. I highly recommend this hostel.

some of the men's bathroom was not working well, the same for the showers and the doors of the toilet. the staff didn't change the sheets in our 6 persons room in almost 10 days, while the roommates changed. We found small insects, named Chinchas in the beds, so difficult to kill. We were forced to clean all the stuff, this was paid from the hostal, but it was very unconfortable. the hostel staff knew that there was this problem but they didn't do nothing, would have been enough to close the room
