There was not a good atmosphere at all. Very empty, lights were out in common places, no music, not cosy, the bathroom was even locked when we came back totally cold and wet from a trip. "Toiletpaper? We are tired of providing that!" And you don't feel very welcome with messages who say how much you have to pay for using the bathroom or the kitchen after checking out. I wonder what happened here before that people become like this!?
is nice if you like to do a lot (lot) of activities don´t have lockers the laundry services is no so fast.
Andescamp was one of the best hostels I've stayed in during my trip through South America. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any question or need I had. The dorm rooms, public bathrooms and guest kitchen were always clean and well kept, and the free pancake breakfast was a special touch. I also really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere; the staff and everyone there was like a family. I would highly recommend this hostel to any backpacker passing through Huaraz.
