Andescamp was one of the best hostels I've stayed in during my trip through South America. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any question or need I had. The dorm rooms, public bathrooms and guest kitchen were always clean and well kept, and the free pancake breakfast was a special touch. I also really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere; the staff and everyone there was like a family. I would highly recommend this hostel to any backpacker passing through Huaraz.

This is what Andes Camp wrote to me: We are very sorry to inform you that we do not have space for the reservation you made with us for this weekend. This weekend is a Peruvian holiday and we are completely booked, but we were not able to update the availability on hostelworld because we have lost access to our account. We sent them an email to gain access but they are taking their time in responding so we can't cancel any reservations. If you don't mind, if you could get your deposit from Hos
