The hostel was very dirty and the facilities were minimal. I would not recommend a stay there.

Lovely environment in hostel. Peter Pan is so nice and helpful. He is also good at playing bowling, welcome any challenge ;) Had an enjoyable stay in Andong with this fantastic hostel.
The manager can speak english quite well and he is helpfull. Clean and quiet, nice bed. 5min walk to restaurants and buses and 10min from the train station. 30min from the bus terminal by bus.
The hostel is clean and offers a breakfast with toast, eggs and jam. The staff speaks a little bit English and if you ask them, they try to help you, even if they won't ask you and watching the whole day TV. The bad thing is that they have only one bathroom for all people, which can consume a lot of time especially in the morning. At the weekend we had a nice party with the owner. For a short trip that hostel is definetly OK, even if the atmosphere is not really like a hostel.
There's only one shower/toilet so you have to wait to go to the toilet. Most people brushed their teeth in the kitchen sink. There are no locks on any doors, even the outside one and there are no lockers. The owners gave off a really weird vibe and I sometimes felt I was being mocked. They also sleep in the living room and were still sleeping when I left. As a guesthouse it's not great but as more of a homestay then it's acceptable. The owners did teach us some Korean games and shared some drink
