Anfiteatro Castrense B&B was a great place to stay, but it is just outside of the city circle. This meant that we would usually leave in the morning and wouldn't return until night time, so we had to carry anything we might need later, and if we bought anything, we would often take our bags into whatever amusement and bars we visited. The guys that run the place are really nice, but didn't have a chance to point out any sights or bus routes. No one else was there during our visit (November).

The communication to the center of Rome - good. The breakfast a la italiana - some brioches, all sweet things and fruit juices. One bathroom for some rooms but we didn't have to wait a long time to get in. I can recommend it to the peolpe that want to sightsee and do not spend a lot of time in the hostel.

Rocco's cappucino was GREAT! There is only bathroom for 4 rooms and there is no kitchen.

Great place! Close to metro, 10minutes to San Giovanni and 25 to Colosseum on foot. Room was clean, balcony, nice little breakfast all good. Only minus is that wifi went on and off

Rocco and Emanuele were very friendly, helpful and caring, so we had a great stay at the bed and breakfast. Unexpectedly we even had a small balcony where we could enjoy the breakfast which was brought to us every morning to our room. What we also didn`t expect was, that it was close to the metro station and we could also walk to the colosseum (15-20 min)! All in all I really recommend it, nice people, not too far away from the center and good price, we liked it very much!
