We had a great stay. Our host was fantastic, giving us a nice map we used our whole stay and pointing out metro stops as well as awesome restaurants (go to the Trattoria he recommends!! So good). The whole place was nicely updated and clean for the most part. There's a communal fridge which is really nice and we felt very safe here. Not within walking distance to most attractions, but with metro and bus stops close.

The B&B is close to Termini and has metro stations close by, but is not too far from the centre if you prefer to walk. Our room was lovely - we were given a free upgrade to the best room - and the bathroom was modern and nicely fitted out. The breakfast was good - lots of different pastries etc. - and Emanuele, the owner, was very accommodating upon finding out we were vegetarian, and gave us delicious sandwiches too. We highly recommend it as a place to stay in Rome.

Emanuelle was absolutely amazing. Very accommodating to everything we asked of him. The cleanliness as well as the breakfast could have been better, but were definitely not of poor quality. I highly recommend Anfiteatro Castrense B&B!

We had trouble getting there from the airport, but the location is decent as far as distance from attractions. Just over a mile from the Colosseum and city center. Emanuele was very sweet and helpful giving us a map and showing where things are, although he struggled a bit with his English. Breakfast was just okay. It is a small but clean space and you get your own keys and to come and go as you please. Small balcony is nice. Recommend for a cheap and quick trip to Rome.

Amazing stay here! Emanuel was more than helpful, nice room, balcony, big breaky in bed everyday was great but nothing fancy. No kitchen but great resturants near and use of fridge was enough. Close to metro and all sights within walking distance if you prefer. Thank you for the great stay.

A wonderful stay for a week at this B&B. We were upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost, which had a big balcony. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, and the building was very secure. It is located a couple of blocks from the metro, but we could walk to the Colosseum in 20 minutes. Very generous breakfast every day. The host Emanuele was just wonderful - friendly, accommodating, and gave great local recommendations. A great base to explore Rome from, and great value!

Emanuele is a class act and a great host. Upgraded, clean, and secure facilities. As far as personal preference, this isn't a socializing environment. Yet it's easy enough to walk down the street to a restaurant or hop on the subway just a short walk away

Emanuel was very helpful and the check in is flexible which is really convenient. The room was excellent and having a balcony was a bonus. There is a lift which was very welcome. The place is located in an area where the locals live (rather than tourists) and is very well connected by bus and metro. If you want to get away from the hordes and live amongst the locals this is a good place to be.
