Very beautiful place and good location.

My friend and I spent 3 nights there around new years. They had jacked up the price to $100 per person, so $200 per room and the entire hostel had 1 shower. The sheet on the double bed had tiny little hair and sand and whatever all over it, so the first night I had to sleep on a towel. The hostel is in between 2 plazas (one is more like a "square" and the other a little "park" covered by mosiac tiles. Absolutely the worst location for sleep as people gathered there all night drumming and drinkin

You can't beat this hostel for the price ! It's a small hostel, with a lot of character, situated in a spotless street near all the cheap pubs and the mains areas. The living/dinning "area" is small, and that's the point, it's impossible not socialize with people, big plus imo. They are not strict with the rules and that makes a big difference too, especially in such a living city like Valpo. No cleanliness issue for me, good breakfast and friendly staff. The kitchen is a bit small but workable.

Our double room was great, really big, nicely decorated with a fridge and a TV, but it did smell a bit damp and so we had to keep the window open. The hostel's location was perfect, right in the middle of he really arty, cool part of the town, with loads of bars right outside the door. The negatives were that the one shower room wasn't enough, we often had to wait, and the breakfast was a bit poor - more food please! The staff were good but a bit hard to find sometimes..

There was a little kitchen and no place to eat your dinner/breakfast, just a small livingroom. The double room was great with a nice bed and a good view. If you like cheese, you will have a nice breakfast with tosti, fruit, muesli and yoghurt. The bathroom was not clean.

You guys can´t charge 2000 pesos for keeping my luggage!!!

It was very well located near center of town and a subte station, beds were comfortable, it was colorful. One of us thought the common room/dining room was a little too small. Kitchen was well equiped for cooking. Staff was friendly.

Hi, i had a really funny staying at Angel Hostal in Valpo. The location is optimal for going out as well as for sight seeing an the Valparaiso Hills. Besides the staff are very nice and prepared to help you with anything.

Great place to stay, helpful and friendly staff. Very spacious rooms, we even looked out on to one of the ascensores :) Tasty breakfast, made with love. Too bad breakfast wasn't ready on our last day. We left at 7:15 am and on the website it says breakfast from 7am. Other then that, great hostel in Valpo!

A good accomodation. The rooms are more colored and particular. There isn't a dining room but you have to eat with other host in a sitting room. The breakfast is very very good. The hostel is closed to old center's city and the main barrio. Only one problem, the water was cold.
