I loved my stay at Angkor Wonder. Whynot and his family are delightful. They can organize just about any trip for you but without being pushy, like most other people you'll meet. The best of the amenities was ready access to cheap bottled water and drinks. It was also clean and just down the road from the Old Market. I highly recommend this hostel and its wonderful family.

We arrived to find out that they did had our reservation, but no room available. So they sorted us out in the hotel accross the street. Next day it was sorted. However we were placed in a more expensive room then booked - we were only told this when we had to pay on the morning we left. Also on the day we were supposed to leave on the bus to Bangkok, we found out that owner did not book our bus ticket. His wife had to sort it out on the day itself last minute. But the hostel itself very nice !!!

Clearer signage outside the hostel. It's quite difficult to find if we are not familiar with the location.

I highly recommend Angkor Wonder Hostel while staying in Siem Reap. The room was spacious, clean, and had a really cold air conditioner. They offer a very good cheap breakfast also. Its location is very convenient as you are a minute's walk away from the downtown area. The best thing about the place though is the kind owner. Mr. Whynot will give you really helpful information about the area and set you up with reliable transportation also. He really goes out of his way to make you feel at home.

Average room, clean bathroom and sheets with a/c and fan....basic but you don't need anymore. The best thing is the man at reception (I assume the owner). He is the most helpful man EVER! He will try to find you extra people to share your tuk tuk to save money on temple days, he will book buses for you, he really is lovely. My friend stayed elsewhere and the hotel staff kept ripping her off - she came to my guesthouse to ask for help with tours and busses in the end!

This is the first time that after seeing my room I decided to lose my deposit and find another place to stay. There are many nicer places nearby which charge the same amount

Location was good and beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful. The bathroom was cramped, and dirty. The shower drains into the floor. Probably would look for somewhere else to stay; it was pretty cheap, but there are lots of options in Siem Reap.

This hostel is very nice. The location is very good, few minute walk to pub street and market. People working here are friendly and always smiling. Service is very good to, the toilet broke down in 1 room, and I was immediately transferred to another room. Only thing to keep in mind is the bad internet. It keeps quitting, multiple times a day and takes a while to be online again. If you can live with that, then this is a very good option for the price and the things you get.

we killed about 20 mosquitoes during the first 2 days in our room. not sure if the other rooms are like that. rooms a bit dark, however strong wifi signal. recommend booking tuktuk or other services ie laundry outside as it will save you $. the angkor wat book was useful. bikes are also not free as described.

Mr Wonder, the hotel manager knows it all, and looks after you, will tell you how much you should pay for tuk tuk drivers for Angkor, and give you other tips, very good man. The hostel is only a 3 min walk from Pub Street, in a quiet street. Def recommend.

We arrived on an overnight bus from Sihanoukville and were able to check in at about 6.30am which was a great bonus as we were so exhausted. Our room was basic but was absolutely fine for a one night stay. The free bike hire came in so handy as it is only a 30 minute ride from the hostel to Angkor Wat. Mr Why Not was a fantastic host, he is so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend for short stay in Siem Reap.
