I stayed in the new dorm here and I had a fantastic time, meeting many other travellers which allowed me to save some money by sharing tuk tuk rides to the temples. We had a lot of fun in the garden of the hostel in the evening with a few beers. A lot of good memories were made there. The rooms are basic but very clean and for the price it was very good value. Mr Why Not and his family were great, they helped me with booking tickets and advice about the area and temples. Highly recommended.

Hotel was great: excellent staff, good location, good tours with their own tuk tuk driver. Wifi worked in room, computers also available. Given extra fan for fan room and lent books to read up on angkor wat. Quite a lot of mosquitos had managed to get into room, and with it being so hot, bites were unavoidable. Shower was cold, but that wasnt a problem. Great value for money
The staff was excellently friendly and a good help in organizing my further journey.
Really good hostel !! Drinkable water is provided which is not common in cambodia !! the staff is really helpful, they would not mind spending 20 25 min with you just to plan your trip to angkor wat or somewhere else!! Definitly recommended !!!
Felt really welcome on arrival. Mr why not helped us decide a plan for the 3 days we had to visit the Angkor wat site which turned out to be a great plan. The tuk tuk drive he organised for us was excellent.
Fantastic hostel and a great location. Special mention must be given to Mr Why Not, his family and tuk tuk drivers for making our stay amazing. Everyone was so helpful and made our stay effortless and relaxing. Thank you so much
What a great little hostel!! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They really go out of your way to make you comfortable and happy in any possible way. Rooms are basic, but large. Small bathroom but everything is clean. We even had toothbrushes supplied. If you arrive by miniwan from Bangkok, DO NOT book a next day tuk tuk with your free ride to the hostel. Such a scam!! Book the tuk tuk to Angkor Wat with the guy at the hostel - much cheaper and friendly.
My bus delay 3 hours arrived at siem reap but hostel peoples still waited me in the bus station, appreciated ! Their service is excellent, always provide the useful information to their guest :)
Be warned that they accept bookings even when fully booked and might try and put you in the grottier hostel opposite. We complained and mr why not paid for us to stay in a more expensive and really nice 3 star hotel nearby. Nice bloke and really helpful an picked us up from the bus stop. His actual hostel seemed nice but cant confirm.
Great guesthouse really near ( 5 min walk no need of tuk tuk) to night restaurants, bar and night market but far enought to relax and sleep from noisy area. Mr Why Not will do all possible to help you and more. Excellent staff.
Mr. Why Not is a fantastic host! He gives you a great understanding of Siem Reap and Cambodia, including its rich history.
Great! Absolutely recommened it. Nice staff, good location,mr why not can arrange everything for you. Free pick up was great!
Very good location - close to markets and restaurants but a bit off the path. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although a little loud, but it is probably loud everywhere. Wifi worked great and air con rooms were awesome! Mr. Why Not and his family were always very friendly and ready to help. Great budget option for Siem Reap and visiting Ankor Wat.
Staff were really helpful and friendly. Location was ideal as close walking distance from all bars and night market but not too close for the noise. Room was big and comfy beds, however shower didn't work very well, but overall very clean.
When staying here we felt unnecessary pressure from the owner to book tours and day trips with him and his tuk tuk friends. This made us feel uncomfortable in the hotel and to the point that some days we would leave at morning and come home very late in attempt to avoid the owner. Room was very loud and located right above the hotel lobby. Not very good value for money. Moved to another hotel, got a much nicer room and the hotel had a pool for the same price we paid here. Would not recommend.

The location is good, a 5 min walk from the night market and 'pub street.' It's a little further away from Angkor but it doesn't add much on to your bike/tuk-tuk ride. The staff are great, very helpful and the pick-up from the bus drop-off was very welcome. There isn't much of a communal area to speak of but I was so busy at Angkor that didn't really bother me.
In the last floor, the lock of my room needs to be fixed.. Even with the lock it doesn´t fell secure. Thanks!!!
The hostel was great Pick up from the bus stop! Our bathroom was so weirdly arranged though! But I guess that's just SE Asian bathrooms for you!
