Great hostel, sorted my whole trips in siem reap! Great room, great staff, fantastic value for money - no complaints!

my stay at Angkor Wonder was excellent. The owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. Has a front yard to hang out and drink beers. Walking distance to pub street and the market/tourist area. I would definitely stay here again.

Mr why not, what an awesome guy. Helped us out with arranging everything and was pleasant to chat with. This hostel is about 5-7 minute walk to pub street, the location is great, quiet at night, and close enough to the markets and pub street. The street is a little dark, but we always felt safe even walking back after midnight.

A very nice family is running this place, one of the best hostels I have been on so far. And they have a set of very friendly tuk-tuk drivers connected to the hostel, so it is really easy to get around whenever and wherever you want. And they all speak english, which of course can be an advantage if your travelling around with someone the whole day. Plus it is a nice opportunity to get to know people which can be hard (if you don't speak cambodian of course).

The Hostel/Guesthouse is Good. The stars are Mr Why Not and his family and staff, nothing is too much trouble, I booked one night and decided to stay for the remainder of my time in Siam Reap, I would stay again.

Mr. Whynot took his time to explain details on how to travel in Siem Reap and Tonle Sap Lake. Good location because convenient store, ATM, old market, restaurant, money exchanger are just a few steps away. The thing that bothered me was the greasy feeling floor in the room. And the bed sheet isn't changed everyday if you stay for more than a night.

For a cheap place to sleep this is a good place for backpackers. The beds were extremely comfortable and a nice break from the hard mattresses you get. Our bathroom was leaky and full of water and the water cold. They gave you a towel for the shower though and the upstairs terrace was nice.

Softest. Beds. Ever. My friend and I stayed in a two bed private which was extremely cheap for an amazing room. The staff was pretty laid back and so was the vibe at the hostel. I seriously cannot talk enough about how soft the beds were. Traveling around SE Asia you can find some pretty hard beds, and I swear these beds were pure memory foam. The location of the hostel is good as well, less than five minutes to pub street. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it looked really affordable.

Not bad for a hostel. Only issue they have a massive tanoy speaker outside the hostel (from a temple or something) and someone died apparently so someone sings through the speaker from 5.30 am so you cannot sleep, they told us it's only one day but they were singing the 2 days we were there, so not sure if this is true. One more comment is that above the sink they have fitted a tray for toiletries so close to the tap that you struggle to open the tap, but hey.

Good hostel, near the main tourist area but just off avoiding the noise, stay was made pleasant thanks to Mr Why not! He helped with any request and was always friendly, as were his tuk tuk drivers. Room could have been better but was OK.
