DO NOT STAY HERE, We arrived after a 12 hour train journey to be told our room wasnt ready until tomorrow but they kindly showed us to a corrugated iron box with 2 dirty unmade matresses on the floor and NOTHING else in the "room" which wasnt even fit for stray dogs. Appaled at this offering we needless to say walked out. Disgusting.

Family who ran it were nice. We paid for the pick up (same as govt rates) and unexpectedly got charged waiting time, so make sure you have a reliable flight company before you book it - govt prepaid taxi is right outside the door of airport. It is a very nice place to sit when it is too hot in the sun, and i really enjoyed the walk to the beach each time we went there... not too far away at all.

Very friendly and helpful, they no longer do a breakfast but there are several places to eat so it was not a problem. The dorms were large and airy and our initial 3 bed room was comfortable and clean as well. I cut my foot badly and the gentleman was very helpful and got me some iodine and cotton wool for it, would definatly stay again.

I STAYED IN THE GUESTHOUSE FOR TWO WEEKS AND I LIKED IT VERY MUCH.THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN AND THE SERVIC POLITE AND CORDIAL. THE LODGE IS LOCATED IN A CENTRAL LOCATION AND ONLY TEN MINUTES WALK FROM THE BEACH.PRICES ARE REASONABLE.

Lovely place with very friendly and helpful and charming staff. Centrally located in the heart of Anjuna just 10 minutes walk to the spectacular beach and the night life but far enough away for you to get a good nights sleep. A supermarket next door, hot and cold showers... What more do you want for 200 rupees a night!

There were no screens on windows and the mosquitoes were partying all night, so were the neighbors. It was impossible to sleep. They didn't have our beds available when we arrived so we were forced to move to another room and pay more. It was right next to a busy road, which didn't add to the 'tranquility' of the place, either. I realize it's Goa but you need to sleep sometimes. Everything was filthy!!! We were happy to leave the place after one night.

Travelled in India for 3+ months and definitely one of best hostels came across. Fantastic value for money over new years eve whilst all other hostels were sky high prices or very grim. Lots of travellers, chilled vibe, and the owners really go out of their way to help with any needs. Cleaned everyday and a few bathrooms. It is budget of course but excellent value for money. About 10mins walk to anjuna beach. Stay here!!

The guesthouse has definetly the cute chillout atmosphere. Many young travellers stay there and share the rooms, so it is also a place to get to know people easily if you travel around alone. I am a girl but i was sleeping outside on the terrace, which is half way open. I really enjoyed it. The owners are super nice. Be flexible, simple and fun and then this is the place for you.

Friends and I spent 4 days over Christmas at Anjunapalms. The family running the hostel were wonderful. No only were they very kind, but also extremely helpful whenever we had a request or needed assistance. The hostel offered other services as well (i.e. laundry) which was extremely reasonable in cost. Though a 20 minute walk to the beach, the hostel was in a great location. No odd surprises, felt safe, and no horror stories. A typical backpacker guesthouse (one of the better while in India)

this by far is the best place to stay in Anjuna. It is close enough to the beach, but not so close that the bars won't keep you up all night.

The hostel was very well located and people were very nice, but we found the rooms not very cleaned, and full of insects. It is worth it because of the price and the very nice garden inside.

Mr and Mrs Peter, both are very polite, well mannered. If you are looking for low budget stay, its a very good place. Anjuna Beach 200-300 meters. Whatever is mentioned about room and location details everything is true.
