Date: June 2nd and 3rd
Place: Sakakijinjya Shrine (Only 2mins walk from Anne!)
You can enjoy kagura (a Japanese specific type of Shinto theatrical dance), performance, and people carrying the mikoshi (portable shrine). There will be some food stalls, so you have a chance to try some Japanese festival food there!
Yukata (Japanese traditional summer kimono) rental service is available for women for 500yen
on a first-come, first-served basis
It would be a great experience to wear yukata at the festival!

Anne Hostel has both western style bunk beds as well as Japanese style futon rooms. Dormitories and privates.The female-only dormitory is perfect for female travelers to meet new friends in a relaxed and secure female-only environment.
Please notice that all 3 person rooms are Japanese style.
